Guns sounds are important, as you see in this vid. The sniper rifle, AR and frag grenade (don't think BR would be the best comparion material) immediately sound 10x better. Which sphincter came up with giving the Halo 3 assault rifle that sound?

The "new mysterious weapon" is called the plasma launcher. It launches 1-4 plasma grenades that lock on to your enemy.

I didn't like the SMG sound from Halo 2. And I liked the AR sound from Halo 1. The AR is great in Halo 1. But Halo: Reach will make everything better. Even the Magnum. Holy crap, I hate the Magnum in Halo 3.

Yeahh, the Halo 3 AR sounded like a Halo 2 SMG. I'd rather woulda had the SMG wimpy sounding and the AR stronger sounding in Halo 3 o_O
