lol, the sad part is that hackintosh can be counted as legal, assuming you bought the OS legit. You haven't done anything that's illegal to the installer or software. The way that it installs could easily fall under install trouble shooting, something windows users have to do from time to time. All you end up doing is using the OS in a way that the company hates (greedy fuks). The thing literally is a pride issue, and if you really want a mac, do a hackintosh & save money.
i find that my pc is way to loud (the fans) and there is wayyy to many wires, also it takes up allots of space. i will give PC one thing, in order to use my 5.1 surround sound i have to buy an extra $60 part but i think its worth it.
let's just say, you don't know what parts to get then. Yes fans can be loud and wires a mess, but the right parts and orginized (plastic ties) layout solves those issues, but then again I suppose if you are so concerned about space that power/function falls behind then you should get the smaller versions that don't have as many features.

Which brings me on to my next point: Windows has more software. Giving you a far wider range of things to choose from. Windows is more compatible, you can choose your own hardware, it is much easier to get help as there are much more windows users out there. But I agree, each system has it's pros and cons.

Any computer can run any operating system... If I want to make a Mac/Linux partition on my hard-drive I can do that in about 5 minutes. If you're a serious computer user, or a gamer, you run a Windows OS, if you're a coder or like to develop software, you run Linux, if you're a fag, you run MAC.

@DavidzzHD I'm running Aspire5742G laptop with Windows 7, no add ons, I'm able to have over 100 games on my hard drive, run them 40 to 200 fps (depends on when they where released, if it's something very new on the highest settings it only hits 50 fps), record them and render them with no problems.
My boyfriend tried a mac. If you do not have the latest version of it apple stops supporting you, they are quite slow and if you choose to install a game it can ruin your system install.

@DavidzzHD imac's are great computers. I own and use all three computer o.s' worlds every day. However, I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE of building more than 40 gaming computers since 2001 that value is in the eyes of the beholder. If you're priority is bang for buck with the parts and overall computer performance. custom building is the way to go depending on your needs. It's not for everyone though, but NOT difficult to learn. I definitely give apple credit for Lion thus bridging gap. can't wait.

I think this is a situation where Microsoft is deserving of some praise.
Apple is greedy, and only lets their OS run on Mac computers. Microsoft, however, lets mac users run Windows and Office.

@Conner526 I guess because some people use Macs but want to be able to use some Windows software as well. I use a Mac but it happens that I HAVE to use Windows. It's not often, but it does happen. But what I trying to say is that Microsoft does not sell PCs, so for them, it shouldn't really make much of a difference whether someone is gonna use Windows on their Mac or PC. If Mac OS was legally usable on PCs (non-Macs), Apple would lose profit in the hardware department.

Any computer can run any operating system... If I want to make a Mac/Linux partition on my hard-drive I can do that in about 5 minutes. If you're a serious computer user, or a gamer, you run a Windows OS, if you're a coder or like to develop software, you run Linux, if you're a fag, you run MAC.

I have a friend that has one for about 7 years already, and he only needs to change the battery. And when you grow up (not sure if your a kid) you will care more about work and less about gaming.

Because I have BUILT more than 40 computers in the past 10 years for customers as a side job ( not including my own upgrades) mac's can get fucked up just as fast. It ALL comes down to the END USER'S common sense or lack of. I have tested that ON PURPOSE on a 2011 macbook pro 17" by going to a porn site i learned 9 years ago caused a chain of viruses. THE MAC GOT THE SAME DAMN VIRUS. It's all the same. Mac is just a pc with apple os.

@chronofusion I know things by experience too. I have had like 2 pcs in 8 years, and 1 mac for like 4 years and it's working perfect. I don't know what you mean by getting ripped off, and mac's have more "muscle" than a pc, and you'll tell me why? because they can wrong maybe a little bit slower than a pc, but it will just last longer.
Oh btw pc only have more "muscle" if you get add-ons on it

@DavidzzHD I'm running Aspire5742G laptop with Windows 7, no add ons, I'm able to have over 100 games on my hard drive, run them 40 to 200 fps (depends on when they where released, if it's something very new on the highest settings it only hits 50 fps), record them and render them with no problems.
My boyfriend tried a mac. If you do not have the latest version of it apple stops supporting you, they are quite slow and if you choose to install a game it can ruin your system install.

@DavidzzHD imac's are great computers. I own and use all three computer o.s' worlds every day. However, I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE of building more than 40 gaming computers since 2001 that value is in the eyes of the beholder. If you're priority is bang for buck with the parts and overall computer performance. custom building is the way to go depending on your needs. It's not for everyone though, but NOT difficult to learn. I definitely give apple credit for Lion thus bridging gap. can't wait.

@salvador00fajardo (Concluded B). both have access to the SAME SOCIAL NETWORKING programs, facebook, twitter, yahoo messenger, aim ( god forbid someone dumb enough to use that hacker wet dream program lol), etc, both have proprietary email program options and can still make full use of internet only based email services, many versions of Linux have win 7 or vista visual desktop tweaks to make it look EXTREMELY similar to win 7 or vista, both can use rocketdock, .............................

@salvador00fajardo (Concluded C) both give you access to the SAME networking tweaking and settings built into the o.s's, both are 99% plug n play on more than 90% of all usb devices. Now I'll give you this. Ubuntu 10.04 for example does require some tweaking out of the install to make it AS functional in SOME areas as windows xp vista and 7, HOWEVER, UNLIKE windows period, Ubuntu ( many versions i think) CAN be DEMO'D via using a free downloaded live cd WITHOUT even installing it. weigh it

@salvador00fajardo and I to get back closer to the point, I never said Linux was the #1 desktop OS either incase that was what you were trying to right but had a conflict of grammar in your head. all my abc points were to illustrate that Linux is catching up with the features of windows while maintaining Linux'd based incredible speed and retaining it's strength of security at same time. Regardless I still use all three worlds. Variety of knowledge is king.You're done. It's over. move on.

Mac + Mac OSX = a mac
PC + Windows = The best computer
PC + Mac OSX = a better mac
Mac + Windows = worse computer (than mac OR pc)

Why don't you just buy an WAAAAY over priced PC and install windows in it and stick an apple sticker to it.

@HeretixAevum The only way to do that is by basically hacking your pc. With mac OS you set up a separate partition. Install windows and then the drivers that Apple gives you. That's it.
