No animals are killed by a vegan diet... Well save for the insects killed by insecticide, the birds and and small animals killed from poisoning after eating those insects, the fish killed when the insecticide is washed into the rivers and ponds, the rodents killed by tractors during harvest. More animals die from producing plants than meat....
@AmericanWarrior1776 You are killing free-living and farmed animals if you eat meat-dairy, eggs, honey etc. One third of all crops are grown - usually with insecticides, tractors etc. - simply to feed farmed animals. Enough crops to feed 3.5 billion humans are wasted in the world animal farming industry each year. Vegan farming, which minimizes such harm to the free living animals, is also proven commercially viable. If you are truly concerned, vegan living is about avoiding all animal harm.
@AmericanWarrior1776 I think you might want to check your numbers again. Almost all farmed animals eat large quantities of farmed plants. You need to farm more plants if you eat them 2nd-hand through farmed animals, than if you eat the farmed plants 1st-hand. If you eat plants 1st-hand, you can also more easily check that they have been grown carefully, with the least harm to free-living animals.
This video made me cry :'( Those poor creatures! No innocent creature deserves to suffer and die like they do. Go vegan! If its too hard try going vegetarian first. After watching this I'm going to try vegansm again. I am determined. Ty for the video. More people should go vegan x
it's not difficult to become vegan, it's really easy if you put your mind to it - it just needs some thought and why shouldn't you be taking the time to think about what you are eating - people are lazy, they don't want to think about what they are eating they just want it 'there and then' in front of them! Stop saying to yourself 'it's difficult' 'I can't do it' - of course you can, it's so easy to be vegan in this day and age, just needs a little 'thought'!
@ruckman007 Thanks for your kind words! You could try our free vegan mentoring programme we can link you via email or phone to an experienced vegan to help you with day-to-day advice? It is quite straightforward these days to switch to vegan versions of most things, like ice creme, plant milks, creme cheeze etc. - but having a vegan buddy can make it easier! Good luck!
@TheVeganSociety I agree. Thanks for the video, I didn't know animals were exploited in this way (i.e. with eggs and milk) and I'll hopefully make the switch to veganism soon.
brilliant video, well explained. i'm going for it for new year, i can't eat dairy or eggs with a clear concience any more but was worried as to how i'd manage. with the help of the vid i know i can do it, and didn't they all look beautifully natural and healthy! i find it very hard to talk to some of my friends about, they seem to just want to find flaws in the idea, i found it very upsetting talking to a couple of them. wish me luck!
@hillybegs Hi! We have a large community over on facebook at /TheVeganSociety, or you could sign up for our Vegan Pledge at vegansociety,dot,com/veganpledge and get some targeted support. Best of luck, I'm sure you will enjoy living vegan! Rob
Great Video...Chapter 8 really got to me...Hated watching how these poor animals were treated...You could see the fear in their eyes especially the pig that was being lifted...How could they be so heartless!! This is Sad...
This is serious! Killing ALL (or damn near all!) Male chicks upon birth is sick! I eat chicken and fish but do struggle with it and this just might put me on the straight and Narrow!
@starksenterprises I see you left this comment 3 weeks ago... Have you done any more thinking about these things since? Hope you decide to go vegan (if you haven't already.). :)
I like it, but it's a bit dubious. If we had killed all digestive bacteria, we wouldn't digest an inch of grass anymore. Bacteria are 'animalistic', but if you leave the pigs out, at least most Muslims will be happy. So it is a good step ;-). Chicken's eggs, yes it IS cruel, isn't it. A reflexion of how the animal world survived for ages, after Ford came around, and we hung all the pigs in a row. Thx for making us conscient, greetings. Oh, and the 'nights' under the herbs fight back, smoking.
Thank you for watching & for your feedback! With Making the Connection - fine dining, amazing athletes, bouncing babies & more, we inspiring non-vegans in 8 Chapters - IF YOU persuade non-vegans to watch it :-)

@VeganSocietyAmanda Still doesn't change the fact that more animals are killed farming plants than meat.

Sounds like the problem is capitalism.
LisaNovasBitch 1 year ago
@LisaNovasBitch Capitalism may amplify the problem, but the exploitation of animals exists outside of it too. Rob
