  • I luv boba milk tea :-D

  • Can you buy large straws at the asian market, as well? I've never seen them there, but I might not be looking hard enough. Any suggestions?

    Big straws

  • Looks fabulous, and I can't wait to make it! Great video!

  • I have a question. Do you think its possible to use regular smoothie mixes (like fruit ones or instant mocha ones) for this? :0 I just got a 14oz bag of pearls for 99 cents at my local asian market and I can't afford the huge gigantic bags of powder online (i'd rather get individual packets of different flavors).

  • when i go back to china and visit my aunt, i will tell my uncle (in taiwan) to send it to me!! they are very delicious!! tell me if you want them!!

  • LOL at the music after every sentence.

  • is that a good brand to buy? or do you recommend better ones? I'm Hispanic, so I've never been to an Asian market....These just look so delicious...as do egg tarts :D

& How did The kiwi Tapioca Balls Taste.?

    i've never tried them before

  • Thanks for this! ~ I just bought the pearls form my local asian supermarket, though they didnt have the milk tea sachets. So instead I am going to follow another recipe for the tea part. ^^

  • oh! how about, er, fruit flavors? I enjoy Boba's lychee flavor very much, but how would I incorporate that with the tea? Is it more of a flavor syrup + water to create the drink? I feel like I should just get a can of lychees and drink that instead, LOL.

  • OH! I forgot to add the fact that it would actually be cold

  • Tellin you guys now that you're supposed to add sugar/honey to the tapioca pearls. Also it tastes good when you put the tapioca pearls in the cup and u blend the bubble/boba tea (which is actually milk tea) with the ice in the blender for like 2 mins and pour it into the cup. It'll be less liquidy and very tasty

  • Time to go back to my favorite Asian grocery store!!!

  • At boba shops, they add sugar to the pearls so they are sweet, without it, they're bland balls of chewy. Haha.

  • when i cook my tapioca bubbles, i always add some sugar to the water so its sweetened :D
