We had airhorns and our FLT/Sgt and FLT/CC banging the doors as hard as they could on our metal lockers.... needless to say some of our cadets fell off the top bunks..... my advise take the bottom bunk!!! I was luck to get one :)
We get reveille and the flight commanders in there yelling GET UP GET UP GET UP GET UP!! I do remember one kid who simply wouldn't get up, four CAP Flight Sergeants, who told me they were going to be hardasses this encampment, started standing there, yelling, GET UP LETS GO NOW, UP UP UP. Etc... I was the nice sergeant that taught the kids that didn't know. Till I got pissed the last couple of days. I love encampment. - C/Msgt. Rowan
Dude I remember that. I was already awake two hours before anyone else. It was cold like balls out there, not that i'm complaning. the more extreme the weather is, the better
@blacklablovr Sorry about that. Thought the bagpipes were appropriate at the time. I do remember hearing that some pissed off SF dudes were after me, supposedly.
haha we had this guy in my squadron who was smart but one of those pain in the ass smart person and he will be like...well in regulation so and so. man he was such a pain in the ass with everybody half of the squadron left cuz of him
pff, at my squadron, while we were asleep, our Flight Sergeant walks in and sets up 2 amps and plays the beginning of Dragon force's Through the fire and flames on his guitar on full blast in a barracks that echoed, but the cool part is he never missed a note
during my encapment our 1sgt where allowed to kick and beat on the flight doors and 2007 then at 2008 they got whistles

I was there when it happened but thankfully I was doing gate duty half an hour before so I didn't find this as annoying.

At my encampment, my friend was due for a haircut, so one of the sergeants came in with a razor and shaved all his hair off, while he was asleep.
