Did you vote for Obama by the way? Biden seeks to go to war to resolve Darfur, the Russian invasion to Georgia, That was just a few things he mentioned with resolving with conflict. Too much war is bad of course, but to sit and hide and wait until the conflict comes to your door is not advisable. Take a look at World War 2, it is just not beneficial. Oh, the whole source for Biden seeking conflict was one of his speech's that I heard on CNN. In my opinion the UN should be resolving Darfur.

No country does ANYTHING out of altruism. And Jim's right - those African nations are mostly governed by tinpot dictatorships. That is, when there's much of a country to govern, as opposed to, say, a toxic dumping ground or famine stricken wasteland.
The book you mentioned is written from one man's point of view - and many have found flaws with Perkins reasoning, research and reliability as a witness.

So what if the pictures are not of the working class. Some of what this song is talking about is not always about the working class, in MY opinion they are trying to soften a hard political observation. Many of what this song is talking about is about the the lowest class. You know, the ones we don't dare to speak of? There photos aren't here, becuase none has the guts or the resources to put them up but the photo's here do have some of the lowest class, and of a class just above it, forgotten..

The pictures and the music don't match at all. The result is confusion. It's like having a voice-over about rape over scenes of abandoned puppies. Pick one message and stick with it.
