If ANY of the major branches were missing, we would be greatly weakened as a whole.
Competition between branches is natural. I'm a Marine and naturally I think my branch is superior but in the end we're all brothers-in-arms fighting for the same country and if we can't support each other when we need it, then we might as well put one in our heads and two in our chests now.

Rangers and airborne rangers are not the same thing. All the extra shit the airborne guys go through put them more on our recon guys' level, after jump school, dive school, SERE, AIC, PLC, etc etc etc. (text limit)

Not disrespecting the Rangers at all, what I'm saying is that the additional training they go through makes them our EQUALS. We sure as hell wouldn't run circles around them like most regular soldiers... but they wouldn't run circles around us either. It'd be a pretty solid matchup.

There is no "best" branch. Each branch has a different mission, and when it comes to their mission, they are the best in the world. The sibling rivalry really revolves around who perceives their mission to be the most important, the most necessary to maintain the U.S. global military dominance, but in the end we know that it's a combination of all of them that makes us what we are. If ANY of the major branches were missing, we would be greatly weakened as a whole.

Competition between branches is natural. I'm a Marine and naturally I think my branch is superior but in the end we're all brothers-in-arms fighting for the same country and if we can't support each other when we need it, then we might as well put one in our heads and two in our chests now.
Also, a lot of people say they will fight to the death for a good cause and I respect that but I've also seen a lot of kids piss their pants the first time a bullet went past their heads in the suck.

if an army decides to do a lateral move to the Marine Corps, he has to start from scratch all the way back to USMC boot camp.. yet if a Marine decides to join the army, he either keep his rank or get promoted to a higher pay grade.. & if a Marine want's to lateral move to the air force, he has to wait minimum 6 months after leaving the Marines before he could join because he's too hardcore for the basic airman. So ask urself "why" ...all day long.

Listen, ONE Canadian soldier can take down a marine, a grunt, or any other American soldier.
we are better trained spend more focus upon conditioning and tactics, and it shows in our military history.
the Germans were terrified of the Canadians they didn't give a shit about American soldiers we had more victories in combat then the Americans.
sure our equipment is mostly borrowed from the English and French, but we can make damn good use of it.
