  • I take krav and hope to teach it especially for woman, kids, and members of the lgbt community. Ow and straight guys too. The biggest things i love about it are 1) go with what is natural 2) Only martial arts that goes for the nuts. I swear that is pretty much what the whole rear leg front kick is for ^_^

  • 0:43 i cudnt stop laughn

  • bike defence is the best xD

  • XD 0:43 lmao

  • Ahh.. krav maga.. from the ancient hebrew for "testical smash"

  • @kenmccarty LOLOLOL that is a hilarious and right on the money comment. Thanks for the post.

  • @FrontlineKravMaga I've done Krav Maga for 3 years now (am Level 10) and lemme tell ya, the FIRST thing beginners buy is a groin protector. The SECOND thing is a uniform! I second your comment!

  • @kenmccarty lol =)

  • LoLz at 43

  • Ist the new Bicycle-Krav-Jitsu :-)

  • @OverdriveGabber is that Bill murray attacking those poor girls , dirty old man lol

  • Apparently you're screwed if the guy decides to wear a cup.

  • oomwoc, lol. You make a good point, but so long as the attacker has eyes, limbs and other tender targets a woman still has a strong fighting chance.

  • @oomwoc Well, if you think that, put on a cup and have a defender knee you in the balls multiple times full-force. The hit will be diminished, but trust me, you'll still feel it. After all, where I train the women all wear groin protectors too.

  • one with the bike is hilarious

  • Cool demonstration.. I Train Krav Maga as well... the key thing is that its instictive.. my trainer learn me how i can use my fightingskilss better .. he is not learning me a hole new way to fight.. its awsome.. i feel much more safe now.. ive tried it in real life situation.. and it works very well :) Many peaple think that womens are womens.. no matter how good they are in selfdefence.. they are still womens..

But Evryone has week points and so does men! :D im a guy tho ;)

  • Very good analysis MMA. Also with women and kids I teach to "Stun and Run". Whereas there are exceptions but it is not logical that a woman will out-slug a grown man. On another note, I am impressed with Krav Maga in Europe and especially Norway where you are. I have had some minimal communication with Rune Lind of Norway a while ago. People have said very good things about him. Be well and thank you for posting.

  • such videos, they are tried to be as real as possible, however, the defender would already be aware that someone some where will be attacking them, no matter how real it is tried to be, in their mind, they are already prepared for the attacks! compared to the streets where usually we're caught unaware, its different, though could be hard to tell for some..

  • Wuranma, you make a very good point, the important thing is the method of training. We train with the lights out from time to time, pressure training where you fight one person and another attacks you with an unknown attack grab or weapon. The beauty of our training is that tactics are simple and instinctive. So the tactics stay with you even in a highly charged chaotic scenario. These are staged for learning but our training we come at the student full force without comprising safety.

  • Well Wuranma, the point with videos like these is to encourage ppl to start training various self defense at some club. Only then one can get familiar with it´s own body fighting off an offensive encounter. Mind (and body).

  • OMG! ROFL! it was awesome until that woman with the bike just kinda ran off... oh good lord i laughed so hard...

  • As clarification, the strategy is that anything that can be used as an obstacle could and should be used to keep between you and the attacker. Could be a bike, could be a shopping cart. By throwing it at their legs or body gives you a few running steps head start or can give you a moment to deploy a weapon. Thanks for the comment.

  • oh yea i know.. i am currently taking krav maga training courses and know the goal is for complete self defense in a potentially deadly situation... the video just seemed very informative and serious in recreating actual attacks... but that woman with the bike just kinda caught me off guard... because i was expecting something way more extravagant.

  • Elricc, I am hoping that you are training at a legit school. Krav in USA has been diminished to crap for the most part. If you are doing sit ups and push ups throughout your class you need look for another school. Means the instructor knows next to nothing and needs to fill the class. Whereas LA Krav is pretty good their licensees mostly all blow. As one that teaches authentic Krav for a long time, it pains me to say this. Good luck. Contact me if I can help you.

  • ya i am pretty sure its legit.. the hour long class only has a bout 5-10 min of cardio at the beginning, the rest is technique... the head instructor also said he used to be an instructor at LA Krav...

  • You just leave your bycicle ?!

  • Thats Right.

  • Hello Garou, The concept of Krav Maga you are missing, is the responsive attack is furocious and relentless swarming the attacker immediately. Pretty tough to mount a feasable response while someone is whaling on you from all directions. I dont mean this disrespectfully but you need to be in the attackers position under such a swarming response when effectively applied to understand why your comment is faulty fist glance, second glance or any glance.

  • I agree, the majority of people won't drop their guard whilst theres still attacks flying at them from all directions, from watching various videos this seems to be the most usefull thing to learn, the main reason is it doesn't require your opponent to do anything specific for you to be able to do certain things. From my experience martial arts relies on alot of luck if you get jumped in the street.

  • Looks good and aggressive at first glance, but as the attacker does nothing but defend after his first attack and because of of a slow rhythm I think either more training or better demonstrations are required.
