@martinwettig: I'm from the U.S. and have moved to Australia. From California, sick to the teeth of hearing dumb comments like that. It might have one swear word removed. The U.S. is not THAT retarded... although I moved here to Australia because I didn't agree with the Bush government. Maybe Obama will fix things.

@THRASHFKINFILLETS Well, you're right - back in the day, this was precisely THE song that made the English press make the comparison. It wasn't really fair because Kate was around before Tori and people assumed she was copying... based on the chorus of a single song. I love Kate more than any other female artist - but lately I've been apologising (on the inside) to Tori fans for ever having 'slagged her off' (Tori).

@heatherdumas I just find the UK version more appealing. I saw Tori in Berlin a couple of nights ago, AMAZING. Totally different this time around with just Tori and her Boesendorfer and a string quartet. Go see her if you can.

@TalkToTheBody I find the UK version better too. You're so lucky you got to see her live! Not many people come around my area (Alabama, US). It's one of the states that gets the least amount of great artists to come around. We aren't a very popular or POPULATED state lol. I'm going to find her tour dates online, and if she's coming to Tennessee (which I'm close to), I will definitely be going!

@heatherdumas Awwww you must travel to see her then, as I said the gig was completely different to the last tour I went too (Abnormally Attracted to Sin) as she had with her the string quartet that is a band in its own right but she did perform Silent All These Years, A Cloud on my Tongue and Winter amongst a couple of other oldies. To be honest the string quartet was a joy to watch, four young guys. I hope Alabama gets some artists coming your way

Yes, Ethiopian female "ciircumcison" and mothers who buy into it - the whole point being to remove from women the ability to feel pleasure in sex, so they won;'t have any reason to be unfaithful to their husband-owners - the threat of violence is the motivation of course, better to make a virtue of necessity than to be beaten, shunned, murdered - I was just not sure how the video reflected the meaning of the song, if it does - but viva Tori, in any case
