Better to tape along the full edge of the backing. Also, you should ALWAYS start pinning at the center, then lines of pins up and down/across, then fill in the quarters. This prevents any shifting and eases out any bubbles. You will seriously scratch that table too. Better to use the floor or put a cutting board under the sandwich.

How much would you charge for a small baby quilt such as this.? I make baby quilts in a different way..with fabric paints using appliques...pics from coloring books..and i hav no idea how much to charge. I love what i do i don't consider it work and that plays a part of what i think i should charge.
