  • This can not be royksopp, I think the original is from Gustavo Santaolalla from Motorcycle diaries OST. royskopp wouldn't never do that bad mixes..

  • @tinofromberlin The original is from Gustavo Santaolalla. This is Röyksopp's rework of the original track. Whether or not it's a good or bad remix is up to the listener.

  • @mushroomsmokev2 royskopp is much bigger than this monotone "rework". Indeed its up to the listener but believe me, this is no track made with love..

  • @tinofromberlin To each his own. Thanks for your comment.

  • @mushroomsmokev2 completely agree, it is up to the listener, however... i must say i DO this love this song xD

  • Es taaaaaaaaaaaaaaan hermosa.... Y la original ni que decir!

  • Nature's Rave party!

  • @puchianddada : there's nothing simple in this remix. It's just plain Röyksopp genius!

  • Just wow

  • Aguante Argentina!

  • To clear this up:

Ushuaia in the title is actually Argentina, not Norway. The song is by Gustavo Santaolalla and is in the soundtrack of an argentinean movie, 'La Quiaca' is another place in Argentina as well. Royksopp simply edited this, as a remix. :)

  • Its just gorgeous

  • beautiful visuals

  • One thing to say : Mother Earth is gorgeous !

  • a lot of people comment stupid things that make no sense, then when their comment is proven ignorant, they leave and never come back. Tresloukadu is one of those people.

  • great vid

  • i like it cuz its chill

  • I love the way you compared the music with the video! One of the ways I would do it,too if I ever lived in such a country!

  • all gates open from CAN.

  • @mu27amaria I thought no one else heard it.

  • Can't take it out of my mind. It's simply adorable...

  • The best composers with the best artwork, congratulation!

  • I fucking miss Norway when I see this.

  • ARGENTINA <3

  • was it released on any album if yes how is it called? please answer

  • Absolutely superb video and tune, thanks

  • I am amazed at the video quality. I can even count the stars. :)

  • Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm.... yeahh!

  • The original is awesome, too, but this version just has such a spooky feel to it. Mmm. <3

  • OH MY GOD! BRILLIANT!

  • magnificent

  • Gustavo Santaolalla - De Ushuaia a la Quiaca

  • i think of in the rest of my life i never gonna see in life.

    that kind of beaty

thank god of somebody could take his camara and

show to the world with beatiful music

    thanks

  • the original is way better

  • @aeonyoda

that's because it can't be improved on

The whole point of the original is in the simplicity: the light touch: you are at high altitude, where every sound carries

The bass is too heavy handed on Royksopp's mix & overworked. Love his stuff usually though. The Electric Counterpoint (Milde Salve) is about as good as it gets

  • nice.

  • Beautiful electromagnegtic dance paired with Royksopps's liquid techno..Bravo..

  • Amazing.... !_!

  • Hey mushroomsmokev2, I'm not sure if you got my other Comment, It didn't pop up in the comments screen? Anyhow, I'm wondering what type of Camera your using for the time-lapse shots? Also, does your tripod have a motor? Thanks for sharing your amazing videos.

  • Hi mushroomsmokev2

Can you please tell me what type of camera your using and also tripod setup? Is it motor driven? I love the your time-lapse work

  • One of my dream is to see an aurora borealis ones in my life !!!!

  • Excellent video :-)))

  • i love this tune...deep and dark...

  • that made sweet love to my ear pussy

  • niceeeee, loved it

  • Such amazing light shows mother nature puts on.And look at all those stars...

  • Great video, but (although a Röysopp-fan) I have to admit: The original is so much better than this...

  • the originial score is just perfect, but this mix is awsome! Gustavo is a genius, Röyskopp also did a superior job!

  • Aguante Argentina!

  • hmmmmm..................

  • That was lovely.

  • ARGENTINA, ONLY ARGENTINA....

  • è uno spettacolo che ti lascia senza fiato

  • I died and went in Norway!

  • Please IS this place USHUAIA ( TIERRA DEL FUEGO ) ??? OR this place is Norway??? Why Ushuaia is in the title ??? :S

  • @tresloukadu

Relax, mate. It's Norway. The visuals don't necessarily have to geographically coincide with the title of the song. They both have cold climates and both places have Auroras. This footage just happens to be of the Aurora Borealis rather than the Aurora Australis.

  • @mushroomsmokev2 oh thanks .. ppl have to make a video with usuhuaia Aurora Australis i think will be beautiful also.

  • @mushroomsmokev2 I´m from Argentina and I never saw pictures or videos about the Aurora australis in Tierra del Fuego, I think is not visible there, maybe sometimes... Tierra del Fuego is not so close to the pole as Scandinavia... and about the climate, yes... that´s a very cold island... a norwegian guy told me that Ushuaia amd Tromso are very similar places, excepting the penguins and other animals...

  • Comment removed

  • @mushroomsmokev2 not to mention that ushuaia is the title of the song..

  • @tresloukadu - Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego - The cool guys from Norway just like the "cool guy" from Argentina - Gustavo Santaolalla. Best wishes.

  • @tresloukadu These are locations that are at the ends of Argentina. Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego) to the south, La Quica (Salta) to the north.

  • @faku87 i know in parts, i have been already in ushuaia, tierra del fuego, patagonia, chile, torres del paine etc.. i just didnt know about la quica .. maybe next travel... but many thanks for ur info....

  • @tresloukadu And btw,the song is an edited version of the 21st track of the soundtrack of Motorcycle Diaries by Gustavo Santaolalla called this way (De Usuahia a la Quiaca)! :)

  • @tresloukadu ushuaia is also the name of an hotel in IBIZA

  • @moniuccia88 IGNORANTE!!!

TIENE RAZON @VENDIDA91 ES DE GUSTAVO SANTAOLALLA Y FUE BANDA DE SONIDO DE LA PELICULA DIARIOS DE MOTOCICLETA!!

  • @tresloukadu don't bother... nobody doubted this place to be Norway. Nevertheless, let me tell you, that the south tip of South america(Argentina and especially Chile) is VEEERY similar to the Norway landscapes you see here, you would feel at home.

    Have a nice day.

  • thanks!

  • nice

  • @Itseqorto

This is indeed a Röyksopp edit of the original song, my friend. Be sure to drop by Röyksopp. com and check out the Track of the Month section.

  • @Itseqorto

    boo!

  • @Itseqorto nobody likes you :[:

  • @Itseqorto That just prove Royksopp is also capable or producing lame drumbeats :)

  • brilliant!!! excellent!!! beautiful!!! love!!!

  • @soft2k

    Error...

    Boreal = Norte y Austral = Sur

    Septentrional = Norte y Meridional = Sur

    And Norway too :D

  • Thank You dude!

    This Version is really amazing!

LoVe to listen to this Version ! ! ! !

  • amazing...

  • This video makes me fall in-love with Norway! :)

  • the aurora borealis is like a raver's paradise xD

  • Northern lights!!

  • I bow you

  • Fantastic!

  • where is this place, where is? :-)

  • @vranku

    These pictures art from Norway.

  • Gustavo Santaolalla and Röyksöpp are two of my favourite bands, and De Ushuaia A La Quiaca is one of my favourite songs, but I never knew they made this song together........ Which makes this my most favourite and most unexpected favourite song of all time!!!

  • @timv17 They didn´t together, Santaolalla made the song alone, this is just an electro cover...

  • OMFG!!! This is absolutely fantastic! Crystal sound composed with 'aurora borealis' ... automatically favourited!

  • Absolutely fantastic song, absolutely fantastic video. Thanks!

  • heys... I'm a sort of... fusion of Kissanruoka4400 and Singinmantoday... unfortunately those accounts have been closed but a new account will be made shortly. Anyway This sort of reminds us of Bel Canto's "Ladonia" from Dorothy's Victory.

  • I so want to listen to this on my player, is it on any releases from Röyksopp?

  • @pathduck

Get it from the offital Webside from Röyksopp for free.

  • @pathduck Become a member to their website :)

  • aawesome! i love your royksoppthings mate.seriously, thanx :)

  • awesome

  • Stunning scenery of northern lights with exceptional music from Royksopp!

  • That's some of the reasons why i love Norway

  • Wonderful, deeply impressing.

    Thanks very much !

  • nice tune and awesome visuals 5*

  • q cuelgue este tema!

  • Thanks!

  • northern lights, again! beautiful and soothing! thx, mushroomsmoke for this!!!!

  • thank you so much for the post

im not into the tune eeven if i love Royksopp but the pictures are so magnificent

    what is life without beauty?

if there is ONE thing i want to do before dying it is to see an aurora borealis

i think i ll never be the same afterwards

  • Oh god this is so *beautiful* it almost makes me cry in sheer awe of nature. Looks like this was shot in norway or at least somewhere far north? And is this on any album btw?

  • Man, I am glad not to be a drug user. This would totally hook me up. The tune is lulling in a positive way but the combination with this amazing footage really makes this dangerous.

    Another great upload. Thx!

  • thanks for the fast upload mate its really nice
