i have a tough time debating who was the superior player for Colorado, Peter Forsberg or Joe Sakic. I love Joe Sakic, that consistency, the leadership, and that incredible wrist shot. But as good as Sakic was, Forsberg may have even been slightly better. Forsberg's finesse skills were unmatched and the tough as nails physical side of the game he brought to the table made him one of the greatest NHL players of all time.

However, injuries, age and decay of will means he's not even close to his former potential and skill. He may be back in Colorado again, but in my point of view, his true career ended many years ago.
