@thedoom5411 You need to put the new card in, then do a hard reset. Hold Both Volume buttons and the power. When it turns on, let go of the power and keep holding volumes until a menu comes up. Choose to erase all data. then restart phone.

i took my card out without taking out any screws!!!!!!!! just lightly lift the area around the card and it will slide right out, its very easy. The problem that occurred was that my computer didnt read the SD card, i dont have W7 on my pc. I wanted to tranfer music into the SD card using an adapter, but didnt work, when u place the SD card into ur phone all ur info will be restored.

@182fca you need to make the hard reset after you install the sd card,,,hold up and down volume and turn on your phone.then you gonna see a grey screen with blue message.release the volume and push down and then down again,,,,,,you done!

This will still void your warranty. The technicians can tell that you removed the adhesive tape above the SD card slot, oh and that you broke the hooks on the bottom plastic back cover with the metal strip, cause you didn't remove it properly. :)

No, only SanDisk are working correctly. I think, that it is better to assemble the SanDisk 32GB Class 4 card. But I didn't tried it. These are only informations from the internet.

I just upgraded the Sandisk microSD 8Gb Class 4 to Sandisk microSD 32gb class 2 and experience no problems. The only tricky part was inserting the new microSD card, because the metal-like sticker on the SD-slot tends to stick to the SD-card while inserting. But got it working finally.

To avoid any other hassle, I performed a reset before opening the phone, and did a reset again after the insert of the new sd-card.

Experienced no problem whatsoever.

Thanks a lot for this video! I just ordered the HTC HD7 and this will be very handy if I ever find that 16gb's is just not enough for me after all. I have an iPhone with 16GB and I could manage fine with most of my music on the device; but now with having accessing to the Zune Pass + Windows Phone 7 combo, that might be a different story lol.
