these devices can be bitches when you want to fast forward to an exact point... You can hardly do it.

Also, the battery is said to be working for 10hours with one charge.

However, it IS a very great audio device with an amazing audio chip, so it is a VERY good choice. I will remain tho at a smaller audio player (like Fuze) plus an Android.

MP4 Nation has very poor customer service. I do know that a lot of people enjoy the SQ of this player. I have purchased 3 players from them. The cheapest, player the Nationite R1 is the only one that worked. My MONTHS of problems with my two 0S-43 is documented on their forums.. as well as other people's problems. Admin now locks these threads. If you want an inexpensive touch screen, get a Sam. P2. you can get them refurb. with warranty for $80.00 on Amazon or Ebay!

Nationite is just a generic mp4 player with an American brand name slapped onto it. The rock chip is used in all the generic ipod clones of china just like this one. Also the sound quality on the wolfenstien chip mentioned is horrible in comparison to any of the top name brand pmp(personal media players). I know this from experience. Samsung P2 all the way!!!!!!!!

But the ONDA VX787 isn't a clone! The Wolfson WM8987 is a quite good audiochip too. Samsung P2 sucks becuase my ONDA is cheaper and the P2 breaks all the time.

This is probably the best touch screen MP4 player I have seen so far. Most of them, except for the Touch, never seem to get grasp the responsiveness.

Just got mine a couple of days ago. So far, I am thoroughly impressed! The screen is quite sensitive and very responsive. The box art is slightly misleading as the "shadow" makes the front of the s:flo appear that it's a raised bevel when it's actually flat and seamless. The only drawback I see to getting this player is the wait. It ships from Hong Kong and about 3 weeks to show up. Other than that... whoo-hoo! :)

I ordered this a week back and I must say it's excellent! Outstanding compared to most MP4 players. Though It's funny if you compare it to a Samsung P2 (which I also have for comparison) it looks alike in many ways and the user interface is the same. Hey if an Mp4 player like that can do someting like Samsung, then it MUST be great!

Yeah its as durable as any big brand player and the sound quality is as good, if not better than the iPod. Video plays fine on it but it isn't really a video player. Go onto the mp4nation forums to find out more :)

If you have to mess with the players EQ settings to try and make it sound good, then to my mind its a poor player and this is the case with the S -flo. I think it is due to either the amp or the DSP processer. The onda VX747 sounds much better. I have tried different earphones with both and the onda triumphs.

I don't find the menus similar at all, it just standard list + symbols. the video controls I can see your point, but they also look like windows media centre with transparency enabled.

anyway I've changed the menu backrounds so instead of just black there all fancy and cool :D

Well I got mine today and I am less than impressed with the sound.I had a an Onda before this and although the os and touch screen was not as impresive the audio was far better. In my opinion the sound is more impotant

Set the EQ to User EQ, then go to user EQ set up, and mess around for abit ( the MSEQ is rubbish)

I have the 200hz 1000hz and 3000hz set near to the highest setting, and the other two set to near maximum.
