Just to tell everyone, this is not a sequel, more of a spin-off. It is exclusive for the Wii and the DS. They are making a sequel for skate though.

i heard they might u se the wii balance board for more intergrated play. (maybe its optional i dont know) but the gameplay on the wii will be especially interesting. Ds most likely use the touch screen and mimic motions which u would use on a ps3 or 360 controller

second. You're right about Mario Galaxy. but you have to remember that the Wii can only handle so much. And I have to admit, it doesn't look amazing. but it is however better than if they tried and utterly failed at making it look amazing.

From what i've heard, Mario Galaxy doesn't push the Wii that much, and it is more powerful than the Gamecube which actually had some good graphics in a lot of games. I just think it's sad that they're only bringing the great controls, when they CAN make the game look good.

Now the HD battle is on, and Wii is not a part of it which makes it more difficult for game makers like Atari and EA to make good looking games for Wii , since they want to give more to the HD consoles. Show of a little u know

well. the Wii is amazing at particle effects. I don't know why. but look at the explosions in red steel. Wow! so it can handle the sparkilyness of Galaxy. But I guess that SKATE it might be able to have better graphics than it does now, BUT Games like Galaxy are really cartoony. so it's not that the graphics are GOOD, just Stylized. and I can see that EA is trying to do this and not doing a great a job....

dude, chill! it's not the end of the world, and no, they are not going to improve that dramaticly as you might think. I read on Gamereactor ( swedish game magazine) that the graphics aren't good at all. They tested it in San Fransico or something. Accept that Wii's not compatible with killer graphics.

I don't complain. I like the city atmosphere. I have a 360 and a Wii too and love it for Mario, Zelda etc which are better than many 360 games, but Skate belongs on the 360.
