Well all disagreements aside; the truth will show when he's still playing in his midlife and then he will know if he really loves this instrument or not. It's easy for kids to get good at anything as they have the time and energy. To me I see his eys drifting all over showing that he's not focusing on what he is playing and this perhaps may give some to believe he is forced by his parents to play, not because he wants to do it.

Not really, it's "Classical Guitar music" but it's not classical music. A lot of people refer to classical music as anything from renaissance to romantic, and some people even refer to a lot of contemporary composers as classical music. But really there are all different eras with different styles. This is written for classical guitar yes, but it's contemporary/modern music. But none the less, great job Kevin, keep it up.
