For the people having troubles with the yellow arrow not showing: Once the characters are loaded onto the courtyard and M states the need for a car I hit the ESC key and entered the following settings into the 'GRAPHICS' options menu:

ASPECT RATIO - 4:3

And turn all of the options to LOW, even the ones that are in "none", it worked for me.

The first half of this mission is the most pointless and boring thing ever! They have to drive through all of the island when they could have turned right as soon as the dealer started to drive off then boom your there! but nooo they have to drive all way round the island! Arghhh! :L

this is easier with a desert eagle. if you dont know how then this is how to get it before unlocking.

go to the gun shop and buy the glock with alot of bullets. shoot the shop owner in the leg. he'll pull a desert eagle out. shoot him quickly run and swap for it. youll have the same ammo if not more. but get the fuck out fast cause his buddies are waiting in the back room with smg's and shot guns. so have a get away car ready doors fuckin open

@xxxxxxSURFACINGxxxxx i found out how to fix it: before even going to manny hit esc then go to graphics, then click on aspect radio and turn to 5.4 after pulling up there is a cutscene then afterwards u c\an change it back hope i helped

I mean on Playstationstore I saw you had to need the original game for DOWNLOADING it. But in the stores you can also buy them on a bluray disk. So for the last option I wonder if you also need the original game (GTA IV)
