I was there just yesterday, took a picture, and got a little freaked out... Besides being at "Dexter's" apartment, there was a sign at the mailboxes stating something like "Residents: the new number to report Dexter trespassers is ***-**** and Bay Harbor Police are promising a 2 minute response." I took my picture and ran! I did see a cop patrolling the area on my way out.
I just moved to Miami and I went there today...the people arent too happy about ppl coming to see it.
They had signs saying no trespassing to see Dexter's apartment and I walked all the way in all the way to the edge of the water right by the apt and some lady laying down at the pool told the pool guy to tell me to leave lol...
I still got to see it and smoke a cig right on the water by the apt :)
Dont get to close, Dexter might get chu!

It is very easy if you have a map/GPS. We did not find any guards but there is a huge sign indicating violators would be handed over to the cops.
