peritonial dialysis is prone to infections...patients die due to infections...the advantage of hemodialysis like is less infections and you have somebody to watch you while your sleeping...

@lucky99xxx I did peritoneal dialysis for five years and i never got an infection.P.D. was the best treatment for me.I was 25 years old when i had to go on dialysis and p.d. is so much more convenient then hemo.I was able to do my dialysis at night while i slept,and i had the whole day to work,go to school,hang with friends ext. If you take the necessary procutions you would be fine doing peritoneal dialysis.

This looks amazing! I have been on hemodialysis for 5 years and I cant stand it! I have a 5 year old that needs me and being at dialysis 3 times a week is very hard for me to do. I want to know more about this. Thanks for putting this on You Tube!

@RandumbRaven my mom was on it 3yrs ago for 7months she along with my support stop the MADNESSand live a normal life till this day the toxic are the medicine that is you retain water because your KIDNEY is trying to dilute the the toxic meds by sending water through out your body.. i feel yall pain good luck

@wolfdale00 You don't use a fistula in Peritoneal Dialysis. You use a catheter surgically implanted in your abdomen in the Peritoneum.
