  • Play hardball is an American idiom. Although used in English it can be found more in American english. Not in GENERAL english.

  • Valentina your lesson is very important; thank you very much.

  • worthvalue so much, i like it

  • Our company will be releasing a product thats will "put us on the map". Not all resources in my team are computer "savvy". I might need to "play hardball" with my peer, if he doesn't tone down his attitude. We don't get to have "Power Lunches". We always worked hard but the "the bottom line" is the mgmt never appreciates it. "Tweaking" reports consumes lots of time. My colleagues presentation went bad as he was "flying by the seat of his pants". I do a lot of "number crunching" for appraisals.

  • you write fast :O

  • please be little slower .i can't catch u

  • It is ok

I have already stopped teaching, as I am currently the manager of an American company in my country.

    Thank you anyway.

  • Thanks Dear

  • hello Valen

I liked your video so much..

    Thanks a lot for everything

  • Ok, so another expression of the phrase bottom line could be: "And that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold said so?"

  • Hoping more videos from you. I like the way you teach. I need you as my online instructor. Please contact me.Thank you..)

  • Hello

I would like to ask you for your permission to use your videos in my teaching classes, as their being good and useful makes believe they are the best a teacher can be using to support his teaching lessons.

I am waiting for your reply.

    Thank you

    Youssef , teacher, Morocco

  • plop! Obviously you can use them, that's why they are on youtube, it means ON LINE for EVERYBODY (we know you want her to answer you but that's a dummy question).

  • @oudra11youyou Of course, use them! Please mention engvid.com to your class, so that they can watch all of our lessons.

  • Thanks for a nice lesson. I've often heard "savvy" and "bottom line" outside workplace setting though.

  • Excellent Valen, just a minor mistake 7:05 the idioms are 8 not 7.

But excellent presentation and content :)
