@who1212121 You should report it to Verizon. They may be able to track it, as every phone has a distinctive serial number that is constantly shared with the network. If someone turns the phone on, Verizon can pinpoint where it is.
@ScreeamSarah No, I don't think you can download any apps to the Extravert. However, I think it may come with a Facebook app pre-loaded. Keep in mind that you may have to pay extra to access Facebook.
@MrThewrightguy44 You don't need a data plan, per se, but you may get an extra charge of $5 to access certain sites. It depends on the plan you have now. Talk to Verizon about it if you need more information.
@wirefly Sorry I also have a question... Uhmmm do you need to have 5 dollars on every site bc when i try to get on the internet it says i'm not with the 50 dollar plan and prepaid thing idk!
@ThisIsRealityHah I'm checking into it so that I give you the correct information. Hold on a little longer... I expect to have a good answer later today.
"There is a monthly access fee of $5 if you are subscribed to a non-Nationwide calling plan. On Nationwide Plans there is no monthly access fee. On non-Nationwide Plans, Mobile Web deducts airtime minutes from your voice rate-plan minutes during use. On Nationwide Plans, data transport charges of $2/MB are billed for each minute of use."
Im getting a new phone today (probably) and i wanted to know if there are any good ones. Verizon Wireless, no contract and below 100 dollars. THANKS!! :)
@littlefox726 To be honest, I don't do a lot of work with no-contract phones. However, the LG Extravert is available for no contract with a purchase cost just a whisker under $100.
Just so you know, the LG Enlighten is a SMARTPHONE. And it DOES require a minimum data package of 30 dollars. No disrespect intended, i love your videos. Just wanted your info to be accurate. Thanks.
@insanecappy Are you addressing that to me? Did I mention the LG Enlighten in this video? If I did, I shouldn't have... the two phones in the video are the Octane and the Extravert.
I've had the original LG Cosmos for almost a year and a half now and I can get my upgrade in March. I was contemplating these two phones. Which do you recommend for someone coming from a very very basic phone like the Cosmos?
@radificationnation The Octane is actually going out of production in a month or so. A new messaging phone for Verizon that looks pretty good is the Samsung Brightside. It should be out in a week or so. I haven't seen it yet but the specs look good, including a 3.1-inch LCD display. Nice for texting.
@Maddie10145 There are lots of different plans, and some may use minutes or require small extra costs. I hate to mention specifics here, since plans and costs change, so the best thing to do is to speak to Wirefly or Verizon about what you can do with a specific plan.
@Estherrocks101 The Intensity 2 and Extravert don't seem all that different. In its favor, the Extravert has a bigger display (2.8 vs. 2.2 inches) and it also supports touch. The Extravert has a more standard audio jack (3.5mm vs. 2.5mm). Otherwise, they seem about the same. I'd probably go with the Extravert for the larger display.
I have a question regarding the texting. In another video for the Extravert, they said that you're limited to 160 characters when texting...is that true? I currently have a Samsung Convoy, and I can practically text a novel all at one time, instead of having to send multiple texts, and I find this EXTREMELY convenient. I am thinking about getting another phone, and I'm considering the Extravert, even though it's not a true flip phone, but the texting issue could be a deciding factor for me. THX!
@dtshowell Yes, there is a 160-character limit for texts. If your text goes over 160 characters, it automatically breaks up the text and sends the remainder as a second (or third) text. So you can write more than 160 characters and it will send it all, it will just automatically break it up into multiple texts.
BTW, the Extravert's keyboard is pretty good for texting.
@gorman9800 I not very familiar with BlackBerry phones, actually. On the other hand, I like the Stratosphere a lot... it's the best sliding keyboard phone available, I think. (The Motorola DROID 4 might be as good or better than the Stratosphere, but it's not scheduled to arrive for another few weeks.)
Other than BBM, I can't imagine that the 9930 would be as good or flexible as the Stratosphere.
@yomanPDC I know... we all love powerful smartphones. Yet for every Rezound that's sold, 10 LG Octanes are sold. People need 'em for their grandparents, their young kids, for any situation where you don't need a full-browsing smartphone experience. Wirefly's customers ask us for more info on these phones all the time, so this is an attempt to give them what they requested.
I have never been a fan of the term "feature" phone. I think it misleads costumers a bit. Also not a fan of the contract price point on many of these phones. But this is just one mans opinion.
i lost my extravert and i was the first person in the state of ny to get that phone little baby made history need to find it so bad

It's probably cheaper to add a data plan. ;-(
