I love the sound of this song when it is sang in Italian. But translated into English the lyrics are quite lame. Such am amazing singer deserves so much better. I anxiously await a solo album , but this time with a good producer, other than Yanni. Yanni discovered him now he should allow this talented young man to live up to his full potential.

I went to acapulco.. and it sounds similar tribute.. I am angry.. the part of the solo violin was cut.. this man destroyed the song.. with his voice.. and I am thinking the songs from tribute in the concert were playback.. because they sound similar.. the chorist was chloe along.. lol in tribute were two women..

I went to the concert yesterday in sacramento, it was amazing, they sound exactly like what you hear in the cd, its incredible, you have to go, even if you don't know much about yanni it was breathtaking

This guy has a great voice. Yanni is always great. I have been a fan. With that said. I don't think these two should have come together. I do not like the combination. At least not for this wonderful Yanni piece and Nathan's awesome voice. They just compete with each other and do not mix harmoniously. That is just my opinion though.

Lucia: I agree about the English lyrics and wish I understood Italian. Sara Brightman's comment on translation, I believe, was specific to Italian, which she sings most frequently. Without any criticism of your translation, it would be interesting to have Nathan do an English translation or, as difficult as you know it is, re-translate the Italian into English verses that flow better. (Josh Groban faced the same translation problem on some of his songs too.) Thanks for the update.

Great voice, fantastic melody, but the lyrics are so-so. As Sara Brightman has said, she always prefers singing a song in the native language, since so much is lost in translation. Nevertheless, the words Nathan wrote for this incredible melody aren't awe inspiring.

Nathan actually speaks Italian with near-native fluency, and so do I; these are my translations. I tried to stay as close to the original lyrics as possible so people can follow along. Any kind of translation would not do justice to the song; you lose the "feel" of the original Italian...and the lyrics, I believe, show a lot about Nathan's character.

Thanks very much for this translation. This song and Nathan's voice give me literal chills. I heard Nathan sing live recently in Washington D.C., and I was overwhelmed. I'd never heard of him before, but I will surely buy this album. How did you get this song? Someone said elsewhere that it is a free download on Yanni's site, but when I click on the download button, I can't see a place to get the song. I would love a full album and full concert of just Nathan.

Nathan is a new artist discovered by Yanni. So unfortunately there's no new album yet.  I think Yanni's album featuring this song and 2 or 3 more from Nathan is coming out early this year. I agree... I love Nathan's voice :o)
