@fsheppard1 They absolutely believe jesus was a man/human and do not follow any other beliefs other than biblical beliefs and are constantly referring to the scriptures in everything they say. They are also less of a religion and more of an organization and definitely not a cult.

one of my goals is to get to go to an international convention some day but right now i am so exited about my trip o ney york i am going in August on a bus tour we will be touring all 3 buildings and we know people at evrey one so we have invites to eatlunch w/the bethal family and get a private tour i am going w/my sister and brother inlaw i am soo exited

I went to Italy a long time ago, I visited Venezia for one day, I wish I could have seen my brothers Jehovah's witnesses but I didn't see a single one of them. It would have made my beautiful experience of visiting Italy complete. Maybe next tiem, only my father Jehovah knows.

When I went with my parents to conventions, the peace and unity was awesome. Everybody would do stuff for each other, whatever it was.
I'm an atheist now, but the people with whom I grew up would still help me. And no matter how much I must disagree out of intellectual honesty, those brothers and sisters are an example to many Christians out there!

Hello Jesaja, I am a Jehovah Witness from Mexico, I have been twice to Germany, I had a wonderful time with the brothers and sisters there, when it was time to go back home I was so sad (traurig), a german sister taught me to say in german this phrase because I asked how to say it "Dejé mi corazón en Alemania" wich means "Ich habe mein Herz in Deutschland gelassen". All of them will be forever in my heart.
Slight variations in biblical versions don't produce a DIFFERENT GOSPEL. The GOSPEL MESSAGE is still the same. The New World Translation is a 'perversion' and presents a completely different Gospel message. Don't lose your soul to the lies and falsehoods of the Watchtower deceivers. I was a stubborn Roman catholic and changed the errors of my ways. You too can turn to the truth which is in the 'real' Jesus Christ, the non-angel.

@PLUSH4eva Yes. This year it will be in the last weekend in May. We will be meeting with the Spanish language groups again also. It will be like an international convention all over again.

I know its hard to believe since you dont see this in the print of the Watchtower much. But prior to '75 there were numerous District Convention talks about being ready for the end of mans 6K years on the earth which would end in '75. Fred Franz was the instigator of this. Although they never told people to sell their homes. They still hinted to them of the worthlesness of having children in this system, and putting priorities of service over jobs. And many people did.
Those who sold home's etc and left the fold did'nt heed Christs warning that states "No one knows the day nor the hour" Mark 13:32. :-(

O.K. I pose this dilemma to non Witnesses. If Jesus said to the criminal hanging beside him, "I tell you today you will be with me in paradise" and as we all know, non witness belief is that this scripture is completely literal then both Jesus and the criminal would be in paradise ON THAT DAY!! So then what would you offer as the explanation for Jesus being DEAD for 3 days? Oh!!! and supposedly IN HELL.According to you Logic dictates Hell=Paradise? WAKE UP!!

The WTS says He is the way, but they say you cannot get to Him without going through THEM first. That's the false gospel. Jesus said He ALONE was the way and that one can only go through HIM, NOT through an organization.
Quotation from The Watchtower, Feb. 15th, 1983, p. 12:
"A third requirement is that we be associated with God's channel, his organization. God has always used an organization...only those associated with the Christian congregation in the first century has God's favor (Acts 4:12). Similarly, Jehovah is using only one organization...To receive everlasting life...we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it."
So, are you saying that the fact that JWs use one organization and are united under it means you have the truth? If so, then how are JWs any more truth than Mormons. They are all united.
Being united means only one thing: you are united. I think it is one good indicator of a cult. Paul and the apostles NEVER said that you cannot be saved if you don't associate with them! So, why the Watchtower? All about mind control!
What about all of the false prophecies of the Watchtower?
We believe Jesus IS the way to the father we just don't believe he is God, we love Jesus and believe he is Gods son and that he voluntarily died for our transgressions, we believe God loved us enough to allow his son to come to our earth and undergo humiliation and death on our behalf. We believe God resurrected him to heaven At his right hand and that he now resides there as King but only until God has put all things under him. Read 1 Cor 15:20-28
I believe Jesus is Jehovah only because I believe the Bible. So, I have to accept what it says, even if I cannot fully explain it or understand. The problem with JWs is that they only are willing to believe what they can explain. So, when verses show that Jesus is Jehovah, JWs twist it or retranslate it (New World Translation) to take a different meaning. This is not good exegesis.
I'll help you see that Jesus is God! If you want Scriptures, let me know.

I went to Italy a long time ago, I visited Venezia for one day, I wish I could have seen my brothers Jehovah's witnesses but I didn't see a single one of them. It would have made my beautiful experience of visiting Italy complete. Maybe next tiem, only my father Jehovah knows.

When I went with my parents to conventions, the peace and unity was awesome. Everybody would do stuff for each other, whatever it was.
I'm an atheist now, but the people with whom I grew up would still help me. And no matter how much I must disagree out of intellectual honesty, those brothers and sisters are an example to many Christians out there!

Hello Jesaja, I am a Jehovah Witness from Mexico, I have been twice to Germany, I had a wonderful time with the brothers and sisters there, when it was time to go back home I was so sad (traurig), a german sister taught me to say in german this phrase because I asked how to say it "Dejé mi corazón en Alemania" wich means "Ich habe mein Herz in Deutschland gelassen". All of them will be forever in my heart.

Slight variations in biblical versions don't produce a DIFFERENT GOSPEL. The GOSPEL MESSAGE is still the same. The New World Translation is a 'perversion' and presents a completely different Gospel message. Don't lose your soul to the lies and falsehoods of the Watchtower deceivers. I was a stubborn Roman catholic and changed the errors of my ways. You too can turn to the truth which is in the 'real' Jesus Christ, the non-angel.

I know its hard to believe since you dont see this in the print of the Watchtower much. But prior to '75 there were numerous District Convention talks about being ready for the end of mans 6K years on the earth which would end in '75. Fred Franz was the instigator of this. Although they never told people to sell their homes. They still hinted to them of the worthlesness of having children in this system, and putting priorities of service over jobs. And many people did.

I'm in San Diego County and we already have our new songbooks. I here the friends in Florida have yet to recieve theirs.
What's funny to me is that we have been singing the songs at meetings lately that are not in the new songbook. Have you noticed that? One last hurrah to remind us why those songs will not be with us any longer.

O.K. I pose this dilemma to non Witnesses. If Jesus said to the criminal hanging beside him, "I tell you today you will be with me in paradise" and as we all know, non witness belief is that this scripture is completely literal then both Jesus and the criminal would be in paradise ON THAT DAY!! We believe Jesus IS the way to the father we just don't believe he is God, we love Jesus and believe he is Gods son and that he voluntarily died for our transgressions, we believe God loved us enough to allow his son to come to our earth and undergo humiliation and death on our behalf. We believe God resurrected him to heaven At his right hand and that he now resides there as King but only until God has put all things under him. Read 1 Cor 15:20-28

I believe Jesus is Jehovah only because I believe the Bible. So, I have to accept what it says, even if I cannot fully explain it or understand. The problem with JWs is that they only are willing to believe what they can explain. So, when verses show that Jesus is Jehovah, JWs twist it or retranslate it (New World Translation) to take a different meaning. This is not good exegesis.
I'll help you see that Jesus is God! If you want Scriptures, let me know.

its so nice that i know where ever i go there are witnesses. wich ever congregation i go to the brothers welcome u with open arms. its truly the best place to be is in jehovahs service. i got baptised at this years convention and it is the best decision i have ever made.good choice of song for this video aswell.

Wonderful to see all the brothers and sisters. It never ceases to amaze me how our brothers organize this so precisely and how many show up its mind boggling, truly shows how Jehovah supports us spiritualy may none of you ever go spiritually hungry : )
