thx for the vid, very useful. Looks like its tested under XP running as Administrator? Any tests running as a limited account in XP, vista, or 7? Or tests in normal vista/win7 account with UAC enabled? thx again man good stuff
I was using Avira Premium Security Suite on my desktop and was very impressed with it, when out of the blue, the firewall shut down and would not be re-engaged, despite every effort. Can you help?
Man I think u r better than matt , 1 bad thing about his reviews that he is showing everything and makes you watch 39 min video for something that can b shown in maximum 10 minutes
Seriously dude, don't try to be Matt, be yourself ;)
Besides, I think that first defense against threats should be a good firewall, then av software. Other additional security tools are well known WinPatrol and Sandboxie. For browser like Firefox it is recommended to use NoScript and AdBlock. Thanks to this add-ons you won't see this dangerous sites and browsing in Sandboxie nothing dangerous will go into your computer.
And once again - don't speak like Matt, be who you are ;)
How old are you, comments like this are not appreciated. No one made you watch the video and what would you know about making videos, you have officially put up two.
hey now, I have been very busy around the house. I don't know if I will even get to any reviews tomorrow. Sorry, but until I finish what I have to do around here I might have to put them on hold for a little bit.
Good review on Avira Premium languy! But can I ask you a question? Are you going to test Avira Premium Security Suite? I heard that the full security suite is better then the original premium.
security wise there is no different between the premium and the suite, all you get a is crappy firewall and some other additions that don't effect how good it is at catching malware. So, there really is no point to test it.
Wow you really did a lot of work Thanks for this review... I learned much. Thanks for your time!
