Interesting concept. With the cost of Tenkara equipment, there might be a lot of interest in the DIY setup. Just a suggestion, have a friend or family member videotape you. You have some good ideas that might be lost because of the wonky video. Keep it up, good stuff.
I absolutely love the video...as a high school teacher I had to think...using the hot glue gun on the back of a notebook must mean homework isn't a priority! lol

The safety pin is a good idea. Would have like to see how it was wrapped and what knots was used.

Instead of the hot glue i would use lock-tite impact resistant super instead. Great job though.
