Since I found out how to see the comments removed by author, I think it is funny to see some of the things people delete. Sometimes the comment is perfectly fine, but author chooses to remove it 4 some reason...

if a comment is removed it is still counted in the number of comments you receive so if the comment just dissapeared without a trace it would be confusing,

Yeah, I never delete my comments on videos with this new feature, because of "removed by author" message. And also, your username still remains, that's the problem.

Editing your comment isn't really a good idea, because if someone replies to you, his/her reply will not correspond with your comment if you edit it.

I think the concept is that someone may have posted a response to another comment, rather than to the subject video, and removal of the comment saying, "BlahBlah's comment about..." ends up looking totally strange if BlahBlah's comment is completely missing. If there is still an indicator there, it is not so irritating. Some forums do the same, and even restrict you from editing your own comment , after a short while. to remove THAT frustration as well when looking for the referenced comment.

Yeah, I agree. What the heck is up with that? I can just see someone deleting something and then getting rap for it anyway because a friend or family member got all, "what did you SAY?!?!" and doesn't leave it alone. So yeah, I don't know why we can't at least be able to wipe a comment without a trace. I think someone up the line is just being a fececious jerk, but that's just ME.

I shaved it a few weeks ago, usually when it grows back there's a peroid when it starts to look odd before it looks normal again, haha.

I think I did recommend Zak & Wiki, beautiful game, gets the brain working... only problem is replay value, once you've worked out everything it takes the fun away on a 2nd play... but there is some unlockables/hidden chests to find also so that helps

I agree with you. If a comment gets removed on one of your videos, you should be able (as the owner of the video) to see what that comment was/had been, so you can tell if it was good, bad, racist, or whatever. And off topic quite a bit here... your Irish accent really stands out to me in this video. Very nice sounding! (hope that doesnt sound lame though lol)!

Being a sorta obsessive compulsive person too, I couldn't stand seeing a comment removed by an author in my videos. Why do we need to see traces of a deleted comment??? :-(

When the owner of the channel deletes a comment it does leave a lil message behind. It still shows that there was a message and it had been deleted.
