Poor Ray...he handled it with perfect class...I'd have been so grumpy about it all...I don't know how celebrities handle the constant focus, even if it does come with the territory.  After all, there's a big difference between stepping out on stage and going to the grocery store...No doubt Ray would like to shop for his sundries in peace and quiet just like everyone else.

Really. Leave the guy alone. He can't grocery shop without someone bugging him to sign something. It's ok to say something like "Hey, Ray, I love your music" and shake his hand but don't badger the guy like some stalker.

Actually thinking about it a little more, this creepy sort of behaviour is really quite scary. I bet the same thoughts ran through Lennon's head as Ray's on meeting this character. just saw Larry King on Westwood blvd and Wilshire in LA yesterday. i said i just wanted to say hi, he started talking on his cell phone and waived me off. ok fine. we all need our privacy.

I wish I was there with Ray, I would have shoved the camera up this guys ass..I was just with Ray shortly before this was taken too! It's one thing to do something like this after a show or a public appearance but leave the guy alone in his personal life..saying hi and saying I love your work moving on with someone=in a situation like this is one thing but don't cross the line!
