what Paul did was side press, it's easier than the normal press, that's why Paul can press 300 pounds. Another hard thing about circus press is the dumbbell has very thick handle so it's hard to get a good grip on it so i have to say Savickas is very strong!

Paul has to use his legs to press 435 lbs over head. Savickas press 200 kg axle, harder than 200 kg barbell with no legs. He's clearly stronger.

he means that he ain't allowed to compete in the Met-rx WSM competition, he is so strong that he purposely strict presses overhead in competition without using his legs because he knows he is stronger than the rest of his competition regardless of whether they push jerk or split jerk the weight overhead. He has been known to overhead press(strict) 500pounds in training.

Well, that's not what they said. Nee said is the strongest man of our time, he didn't talk about any "pound for pound" idea. Compared to their weight, Koklyaev, Murumets and Pudzianowski are much stronger than Savickas.

it doesn't matter because they are all heavyweights and past a certain poundage of bodyweight your strength curve will not increase. In the super heavyweight category there are no weight classes for strongman.

He does them with far more pressing strength as compared to Pfister who gets quintruple leg involvement. If they eliminate leg involvement(they should do that to test solely the delts and tris) Savickas still does some reps and Pfister zero.
