I feel sorry for Noel, he put in 100% effort all the time since he realised many moons ago that they had something pretty special going on. If only Liam could have harnessed his attitude, ironically his arrogance was charming but he let it get the better of him. I still rate the Gallagher's as the best songwriters to have come out of the UK since Lennon and McCartney. Maybe the break will sort them out, who knows?
imagine if Oasis would have broken up after Be Here Now, then got back together and recorded Dont Believe the Truth.... that would have sent them into icon status!
i know its a tough call to leave out some of the classics but eventually liams voice just didnt do them justice. DOYS is one of their best albums and they should have made more of it.
imo oasis released the wrong singles from DOYS, think its ridiculous that Bag It Up and The Turning were not singles let alone never played live! the only single they got right was Im Outta time", which is a classic imo. had oasis dropped some of the stuff that liam struggled to sing , such as a lot of stuff off of DM and MG and sang more songs and B sides from DOYS (e.g. Bag It Up, The Turning, I Believen All, The Boy With The Blues) liams voice wouldve been put to better justice.

John Lennon lost his voice toward the end of a performance too, especially the older he got. Twist and Shout nearly ruined his voice, they had to quit playing it live. The sacrifice John and Liam made to sound that way is losing the gift.
liams clearly up for this gig look at the sort of gestures he makes at 1.47 and 2.14 and his face during the song you can clearly see hes up for it LEGEND! any1 who doubts his voice in this gig watch songbird and im outta time in my opinion its the best live version of both songs saw them at murrayfield liam and noel were on top form shame they have split up hopefully a break will do them good and they will be back better than ever LIVE FOREVER BEST BAND EVER!

I'm ammused that Liam replaces the word ''blow'' with the word ''fuck'' at the end of the first verse in this performance and the BBC have been playing the whole gig as a loop all day and night since Monday on freeview! Great gig!
