How to use the AVG Removal tool - (Uninstall Fix)

I'm getting an error installing AVG after previously uninstalling the software using this technique. Can anyone please help?

Hi, I was wonderin if anyone could help. I have tried every way of removing free Avg. I have tried unstalling and it wont work. it just comes up "installation fail" and I have tried to run the romoval tool and it just asks me to run and when I do nothing happens. Would be grateful for any help :-)

It is sad when u have to go through all that with something that should be simple avg is garbage.
