beautiful melody, in my sounds of the silences.......... mmmmmm remember that all... please wait one moment more,,,, you understand me.. truth...... melodyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
If anything, I think people should be more-so appreciative of the fact that whoever decided to use this song for "Can't Be Friends" felt that it was just that beautiful. I don't think it's a diss, or trying to make it sound better, or whatever. It's just out of appreciation. I like both songs. Sometimes I'm in the mood to hear Trey (which isn't as often as it used to be), sometimes I'm more in the mood to hear this.
1:12 gives me goose pimples. This piece resonates with the soul - it's so beautiful and logical... I feel completely at ease and peace when listening.
@liljayjay260 what is this crap. gtfo. trey songz did not bring me here. This comment brought me to trey songz and made me upset as a mofucka. Ruinign something so beautiful.

@ShimaUta86 Ryuichi's original piece is an emotional and beautifully orchestrated work. Nonetheless, I wouldn't knock Trey Songz for sampling it. Look at it like this: a generation of people unfamiliar with Ryuichi and/or classical compositions are now discovering the genre and appreciating it. Trey's R&B interpretation still captures the emotion of heartbreak and makes you fell something.
Sakamoto's music brings out the mystery that we don't usually notice, and he plays it with such gentleness that we can do nothing but stop and listen, as we become more aware...he also has this beautiful way of bringing out the feeling, his work is art.

Every time I listen to his music, I feel...happy. But sad at the same time. When I'm feeling sad, it makes me feel happy to be lonely. When I'm happy, he makes me feel sad but happy to feel sad. Does that make sense? Probably not but this music is mystical in its own right...
