@eranamter In Hush Superman was trying to fight off Poison Ivy's control over him, so Supes was holding back. Batman admits in that story that even with the K ring he wasn't doing much against Superman. I remember reading that Batman's inner monlogue showed he couldn't keep going much longer without breaking his hand while punching Supes with the K ring. Also in Dark Knight Returns he got in a few punches but that's it. It also seemed Superman in end approved of what Bruce wanted/was doing.

I'm a superman fan, I know that batman could NEVER defeat superman unless he had kryptonite, but, I find it just a little desturbing to see pictures of superman KILLING batman, even though superman could always beat batman, superman is still a moral & person, he would rather die protecting batman then to ever kill him, because that is superman's qualities (I'm not sure I could say the same thing about batman, but), superman should be seen as an older (more powerful) brother to batman.

For you that asked about fair fights with supes, Superman goes into many fair fights with villains equal to his power as well as Captain Marvel whom is practically another version of Superman and still wins. @KryptonianLuis Kryptonite has stopped him he needed to be rescued on numerous occasions when he was to powerless to move. Although with telescopic and xray vision he should be able to spot it before it gets close.
Batman has to use a bat-jet and batmobile that can be trashed or destroyed. Superman doesn't need any of those things. Running at super-speed would be a perfect super-power. I never got into the flying that much (Spidey's web-slinging is much cooler), but I would definitely have the flying ability to protect and save people.

I HIGHLY doubt that a male martial artist who dresses like a bat can beat & kill Superman. In the Max Fletcher Superman cartoons, Kal-El has no weaknesses, not even kryptonite. So, the only reason kryptonite was introduced is to be a challenge.
When it comes right down to it: in the real world, there would be no super-villains and Superman doesn't need martial arts because he can win period. Christopher Reeve and Tom Welling are LEGENDARY compared to Christian Bale and all of the other actors who's played Batman, except for Michael Keaton because he was special for Bruce Wayne. But even though, Superman PAWNS Batman. If God gave me a choice to save humanity: I'd choose to be Superman, because Batman just doesn't reach the gold.
For Superman to team-up with Batman is foolish because Batman is a human slows the Ultimate Super-Human down. Cyberman is for Robots what Superman is for Humans. He has some cool cybernethic black clothes. He has a Matrix cape drawed. His logo is a C with Y in the middle filled in a down triangle. He has Black sunglases and green gloves.
His powers are: Flight, Electricity control, Superstrenght ( 4-5 more powerfull than Supes )( He is a cyborg built from a planet like Krypton ) Cybernethic telepath, Eye Beams.

@eranamter In Hush Superman was trying to fight off Poison Ivy's control over him, so Supes was holding back. Batman admits in that story that even with the K ring he wasn't doing much against Superman. I remember reading that Batman's inner monlogue showed he couldn't keep going much longer without breaking his hand while punching Supes with the K ring. Also in Dark Knight Returns he got in a few punches but that's it. It also seemed Superman in end approved of what Bruce wanted/was doing.

You could post a million comic scans to suggest otherwise, and they'll find some bad excuse why such example is invalid. Batman has to use a bat-jet and batmobile that can be trashed or destroyed. Superman doesn't need any of those things. Running at super-speed would be a perfect super-power. I never got into the flying that much (Spidey's web-slinging is much cooler), but I would definitely have the flying ability to protect and save people.

Yeah, but in time, because of the "importance" of Superman being able to really do good for people, the writers made him even more powerful to where he can fly, move planets, fly across the universe at 186,000 miles per second, & blow a galaxy in place. I HIGHLY doubt that a male martial artist who dresses like a bat can beat & kill Superman. In the Max Fletcher Superman cartoons, Kal-El has no weaknesses, not even kryptonite. So, the only reason kryptonite was introduced is to be a challenge.

Christopher Reeve and Tom Welling are LEGENDARY compared to Christian Bale and all of the other actors who's played Batman, except for Michael Keaton because he was special for Bruce Wayne. no the way your talking it sounds as if superman barely has more power than batman. Superman is faster than light which makes him have lightspeed reflexes. For the last time superman has knowledge that's thousands of years ahead of any human. Superman is a genius. Let's recap, superman is faster than batman and smarter than batman. There will come a time where superman will be immune to kryptonite, what's batman's secret weapon then. LOL

Fast? I admit hes fast, but he could as been fast as the flash if he didnt rely on flying to much and he cant even keep up with the flash. Smart? More like a chump to me because he can barely solve problems and he can't make people talk mentally or physically like Batman period. Some of the villains would laugh at superman in the face thinking that he can make them talk.

that's because superman wants people to think of him as a nice guy that won't kill you, not a bone breaker. If superman were a bone breaker he would not be well received by the heroes in DCU. A god that has the intent of harming people. Superman could be more brutal than even black adam.

Batman is the greatest at solving crimes. Superman doesn't need to because he can hear and see crimes happening and actually stop it in progress. If you ever read kingdom come or the current JSA story arc that features the earth 22 superman he is very similar to the current superman. superman will soak up more solar energy and his invulnerabiilty will be so high not even kryptonite will hurt him anymore. Can batman create a perpetual motion machine, LOL.

Well ok old superman back then couldn't even fly, and also back then he used to be so smart. superman had abilities of a god and most of the bad guys cant kill him or even hurt him. Now a days he lost almost all of that. He doesnt even know how to build a machine no more lol.

If what you're saying is truth i wouldn't be disappointed, actually really happy. But i disagree,, i think superman was loved when his first movies came out, now the only thing that keeps him alive is smallville to the genral audience. If you think i'm lying, compare superman returns with batman begins, or The dark knight on Imdb, not only the grades, but how many people voted too. It's almost 3 times more.

Just because Batman is in the media more now because of his recent film doesn't actually mean he has more fans. The media and comics are two separate things. Iron-Man was an A rated movie but doesn't mean he has more fans than Batman or Superman. It just means the film was better. But like i said, films...media..are not the comics.

Weel, if you're talking about real fans, the ones who buy his favorite character comic book erevy week, maybe you're right. I'm talking about movies cause more people go to the cinema to watch films than the ones who still buy comic books. A lot more. SO in a genreal point of view, people like batman more. DOn't get me wrong, i'm not saying he is the best, i'm on your side on this one, but i'm just being realistic.

of course the Dark Knight was better, it's a more recent film given better graphics to use and better story line to write but watch when the sequel of Superman Returns (The Man of Steel) coming out 2009. That's going to top The Dark Knight, you can count on it and then Superman will be back in the spot light. "Wait for it" lol
