Yes !! i did watch it once but not enough for me. Not only am i to support to hangeng, kind of feel to watch it more and more bcs the script go fast and something i might miss up. SM found the diamond (Han Geng) but did not treasure it. If he did not leave, he would continute to be mistreated - overwork, no health, not allowed to see family, not allowed to sing or act, all opportunities being passed to others, family and friends being discriminated. He had nothing but lawsuit when he left. In less than a year, he did his own concert, his own albumn, his own movies. He received 27 music awards of best and most popular singer, and gets closer to his dream-best actor.
You know what's really sad they SME produced some of the greatest kpop groups and solo artists of all time (ex: BoA TVXQ) but whats even sadder they did it with 13 year SLAVE CONTRACTS no breaks not even during holidays and schedules without the artist consent but don't blame the president he's not even in the building when this happens it the staff and managers
Honestly, people should stop comparing Han geng to the members of Sr. His situation is unique: he had a 13 year contract w/ SM, was on a visa that required him to go back to China every 3 months and renew, had restrictions on live performances and his appearances on Tv, muddle that w/ the deliberate denial to accept certain business opportunities (HG became real popular in China & Korea and was denied a bunch of opportunities to expand his base). That and his health was being compromise. Srsly

@valerinist no you are right. u can see in the beginning videos when hangeng was a trainee he deeply admired kpop. u can see his audition videos where he talks about how much he would like to work for the kpop industry. there were some terrible incidents where sm screwed him over, and it kept happening to him. plus he was not paid well. however, workers do hav the freedom to pursue lawsuits since he was so mistreated. to @bellyinil u shutup.
With you all these being said, let's see how much Hangeng can do without SM. And let's see how much other suju member (with Siwon who got the exact same IV treatment as Hangeng and still endured all the hardships) can do. Those companies not only put trainers for singing and dancing, they provide free housings, foreign language teachers, acting trainer, speach trainers, stylist, make-up artists, photographers, and many many more.

Take Shinhwa for example, if they didn't terminate their contracts with SM, they'd be long gone.
No matter what, he betrayed the company who had given him a total new life. Without that chance, he could've been nothing. If he was so bitter about the contracts, what about other suju members? @smokinsister Oh umm it was a lawsuit against SM for abusing him. He was under a slave contract. Slave contracts are usually VERY long (in this case 13 years for him) with unfair distribution of money. He and his family were discriminated by SM too. It seems that he was tortured quite badly and for a long period of time since he said in one interview that there was a point of time that he almost committed suicide because of SM.

The standard things that would have happened to the remaining Suju boys back then would have been intense interrogation by SME. First to go would have been Heechul, then Siwon then the rest of the Suju-M boys. Then the final warning to them, do not TALK to Hangeng, no communication at all.

@lamilami1 He's talked about SJ quite a bit since he left, more than they've talked about him, and he always says how thankful he is for the time with them, and how he would perform with them again if he could.
And if he had told the members? It wouldn't have made a difference. They still would have been just as hurt, and they probably would have tried to stop him or they would have reported him to the management. They couldn't have solved the problems with SME.

Oh my goodness. I didn't even recognize Hangeng at first! he just seems so..different. Where are those warm smiling eyes that he once had before?
Also... I can't believe those people had the guts to ask him about his lawsuit. I mean, it's great that he won, but I wouldn't ask him about it. It would make him extremely sad and awkward, and maybe even cry. He was just sniffling at the beginning.

If he did not leave, he would continute to be mistreated - overwork, no health, not allowed to see family, not allowed to sing or act, all opportunities being passed to others, family and friends being discriminated. He had nothing but lawsuit when he left. In less than a year, he did his own concert, his own albumn, his own movies. Honestly, people should stop comparing Han geng to the members of Sr. His situation is unique: he had a 13 year contract w/ SM, was on a visa that required him to go back to China every 3 months and renew, had restrictions on live performances and his appearances on Tv, muddle that w/ the deliberate denial to accept certain business opportunities (HG became real popular in China & Korea and was denied a bunch of opportunities to expand his base). That and his health was being compromise. Srsly

@valerinist no you are right. u can see in the beginning videos when hangeng was a trainee he deeply admired kpop. u can see his audition videos where he talks about how much he would like to work for the kpop industry. there were some terrible incidents where sm screwed him over, and it kept happening to him. plus he was not paid well. however, workers do hav the freedom to pursue lawsuits since he was so mistreated. to @bellyinil u shutup.

He doesn't hate Korean for what happened with SM, just that SM was being very unfair and controlling towards the band members, SM could of cost him his life at one point during one incident, but that must not be all, he must have his other reasons.

@smokinsister Oh umm it was a lawsuit against SM for abusing him. He was under a slave contract. Slave contracts are usually VERY long (in this case 13 years for him) with unfair distribution of money. He and his family were discriminated by SM too. It seems that he was tortured quite badly and for a long period of time since he said in one interview that there was a point of time that he almost committed suicide because of SM.

Hankyung was my very 1st bias in SJ then changed into Sungmin...
I dont know but my tears are falling now...
Im happy for him but sad for SJ...
I know he's still a member forever but its still different if he's w/ them promoting, singing and dancing on 1 stage...
Memories keeps flooding when he was still my bias... Fangirling over him...
huhuhuh... I really mis him... He will always have a special place in my heart...

All that matter is YOU as a ELF will countion to SUPPORT both Hangeng AND Super Junior. We need to be happy that he gets to do what he wants and take care of himself. Hangeng WILL ALWAYS BE A SUPER JUNIOR MEMBER. He still thinks of them and they think of him. They WILL see each other, there WILL be 13 on stage again DONT YOU EVER FORGET THAT

I don't know what feeling to show.... I only know that my heart really really hurts like being stabbed again and again. I want him to be happy but my selfish side won't agree with it. All I want is for the best of Super Junior. >.< Why is it too harsh... I can't handle it. I wanna burst out. uuhhh!! i don't know what to do. I don't think i will have a nice Christmas

plz.... he is busy with filming and lack of sleep.all actor do. He will be fine with good rest. At least he get to do what he wish and able to do. This is huge difference with the frustration experienced because of doing something u don acknowldege earlier and no discussion involve to achieve better. He sued based on overall reasons which jeopardize his right and career, not because one or two thing tat sometimes occur.

congrat for hangeng! Finally justice been served. No matter what happen next, the result speak out for itself and such relieve for geng ~~ he bare so much pressure with his team. Chasing his news throughout this year is such journey, quite bittersweet, valuable at the same time. Truly wonderful inside out person. Indeed he is true to himself and hold such courage to take his responsibility to manage his own life. Gambate for later life journey.

im super happy for Geng, he deserves to be succesfull and do well in his solo career, and i know i'm being selfish but damn i need my chinese boy in super junior T__T i will support Hangeng whatever he decides to do but more than anything i'm waiting for the day when there will be 13 of them performing together, because i'm an ELF and Super Junior isn't complete without all of them!

@fragileGD721 it mentions that he is the person who brought him to Korea. If I'm not mistaken, it's probably his manager since his manager played a big role when he had passed the audition and went to Korea

what's with all these "i'm still sad that he left SJ and wish he could go back" comments? seriously, is that all you guys can think about? Just look at all the amazing things he has accomplished by himself during this one year, would he ever be able to accomplish these if he were still in SJ? can't you guys just be wholeheartedly happy for him at least this once and learn to see him as the amazing and beautiful person he is, not the member who broke your hearts for leaving your beloved group?

I am so happy that he won, his happiness and well being are more important, Hangeng jiayou! Super Junior will forever be Super Junior, even if Hangeng is not in SME anymore, he seems so happy and healthier now. Eventhough I hope to see him with his SJ brothers, I just want him to be happy and hope that even if he is not in SME anymore, he can still contact his SJ brothers

Holy shit, and I thought that everything was impossible when you go against SM.
But I guess Hankyung proved me wrong, and I'm so happy for him since he is now free to live the life he wants. I miss the 2006 and earlier SUJU, during the U and Full house period. It's when they were the most happy, and that's what was most important. Everything in the Kpop and just Korean industry in general been going horrible, so hopefully everything will get better! Love you Hankyung!<3 :D But no to the hair :|

he was regretful he didn't say to his mentor he was leaving even before the news broke out but didn't bother to say it to the members that knew it through the news on tv? sometimes i ask myself if he is not quite ungrateful

@lamilami1 He's talked about SJ quite a bit since he left, more than they've talked about him, and he always says how thankful he is for the time with them, and how he would perform with them again if he could.
And if he had told the members? It wouldn't have made a difference. They still would have been just as hurt, and they probably would have tried to stop him or they would have reported him to the management. They couldn't have solved the problems with SME.

@miajov sometimes,suju's statement give me some kind of headache..they said geng never has any contact with them~!but,geng claimed differently..he said something nice and try to back up his members..saying that they are still in contact..see,he dont want fans to get upset about their relationship but suju cannot protect him from any hidden agenda of sme~!i am an ELF and i will support suju and geng..I 13ELIEVE them..i know they are separated because that stupid policy that SME has to do with~!

@VIPDERFUL actually, I've never even heard a bad word out of his mouth against Korea/Koreans. Just because he has fans, doesn't mean he shouldn't care for himself. If the fans doesn't care about his health and his happiness, and only wishes for him to stay in SJ even if he's sick, then the fans can only be called selfish.
And that dubbed version of the commercial wasn't even his idea, so don't blame him for it. It doesn't matter if he has antis, there are much more fans supporting him than ever

I'm glad he won. I bet he feels as if a HUGE pressure has been lifted off his shoulders. SM did bring him up but they didn't treat him fairly and because of that he got sick. I hope he won't go back into that company. I support Han Geng all the way!! btw, I can't wait for his upcoming movie with Wu Chun. ^__^
