So do you measure out 1/2 cup of the vegan butter and then melt it, or do you melt the vegan butter first and then measure out 1/2 cup of it melted?

@totalH20 Oh I see, that's odd that there's no apple taste? I don't think you can get apple sauce without getting little chunks of apple in the UK? That would totally ruin the recipe, I'll have to look out for that one!

@totalH20 I'm from the UK and yeh the applesauce is a bit chunky. Generally if I'm going to use it in a cake recipe I just shove it in the blender for a few seconds - problem solved.

@Ruthomom oh may goodness, I have lost my head, I didnt even realize I didn't use any sugar; I guess I'll be making another vanilla cupcake, it was good though, I did notice alot of sweetness coming from the icing #fail
