  • That's prettier that some OF Breyers!

  • They should make that an actual Gift set! that would be SO AWESOME!!

hey,how about you make a family.

you paint them, Then you got to a store.

and ask them if they would send it to the breyer company and then they put it in the box. and you get alot of money if it's really good. The you see it in a store or the same store that you gave it to.

    Royalpony

  • i dont think you can do that....you can show your cms and sell them on ebay and like flea markets and stuff:)

  • What pastels do you use? I have oil pastels....

  • just the dry pastels... i use them fore everything and thats the one used on this... i know from experience!! and in between layers you have to put this finish stuff on it so it doesnt rub off

  • You know, with your skills, you should ask breyer to make that into a set! Yea, you could send that in, and see what they say! I would buy it : )

  • Wow....watching you work is amazing ^^

  • the breyer is a beutey

  • wow thats so amazing! how did you get the paint off? or did u just buy it? I could never do this!

  • You don't get the paint off, You leave it on and prime over it.

  • You can also "Strip" the paint. Thus taking it off.

  • WOW you did really good! i wanna try that but i think ill start with astable mate...

  • whats that stuff she is putting on it???

  • It is chalk pastel.

  • Hi artist,

Your close-ups are very good - but I don't like your musik - the angel-choir - why not use the natural sound, with such a good material you don't have to dip it in syrup-sound.

    I will send an e-mail.

    Best regards and compliments

    Nis Jessen

  • it's not about the music its about the modle and the modle is AWSOME!

  • Aww thats AWESOME!Are you a professinonal!?!

  • you did really good!

  • the real horse Hoku lives in Hawaii at Dahana Ranch, I've met her, she is beautiful!

  • tell me...if you try to wash it the colours will erase no?

i want to try but i want to know this thing

  • If you seal it the colors won't wash As long as you seal it with some kind of spray sealer the colors will be protected and not wash off

  • so you did this all with pastel dust???

it looks really good - lol

  • Is this fast forwarded?

  • did you put the star on her chest??

  • ??

Saturine studios, You stole this video?!

  • I'm the same person as SaturnineStudios, I just made a seperate account for model horse videos

  • you are awsome!

  • waiiiit! did she come unpainted? if not how did you get her white

  • She didn't come unpainted, I just sprayed primer over a regular horse so the paint would stick.

  • never read "wild horse island" but phantom stalion yes!

  • how many layers?

  • whaat do you mean?

  • WOW tured out great!!!!!

  • wow that turned out stunning how long did it take

  • I Got A ? If u don't Mind my dad says he won;t let me use the dremill to take soem of the paint of what elsle can i use and what else can i use to do the ears can u make a turtira ( How ever u spelll it ) on how to do the ears and the hoofs to make it look reeal ty so much

  • how would you make dapples if you did that and do you spray something on each layer?

  • wow that is beautiful. do they sell those?and how much does it cost to have a custom horse created liek that one, if ir was requested...

anyway stunning and it loos exactly liek the one on the cover. and i love that series of book cant wait for the new one coming day after christmas!

  • Wow, that came out beautifully!

I'd love to have a custom model of my horse, I can't really pay someone to do it though. Maybe i'll have a go on my one breyer .. never much liked the colouring anyway .. [:

  • he came out gorgeous, great job. i do pastelling too, my medium of choice. ;] mostly dapple grays though. there are just so many patterns! XD

  • oh so amazing, you've really got talent!!!!!!!!you are amazing, 5 stars, that looks like a proffesionally made model!!!!

  • WOW! This is awesome! What a great tutorial, thank you for sharing!

  • you r amazing :) !!!! the breyer horse when you were finished looked IDENTICAL to the horse on the book :)

  • can somebody help me. like i have acrylic but I hate it. and how do you get it the paint to stay on without chunks?

  • where can you buy the pastels? and what brand do you personally think is best for this?

  • They usually sell them at regular art and craft stores. The ones to get are the Alphacolor earth tone set

  • Love it~ your from WHV right? Thats how I found this! Oh and.... how do you take the paint of? Sorry I have never done it before!

  • Yes I am XD

You don't need to take all the old paint off, just primer over it. I have tutorials on this account

  • How long does it usually take? And do you spray the finish on nefore you put pastel on in the beginning? sry if im annoying. i wanna try it. I have, like, 30 models. (i dont no if that a lot.)

  • It takes me one night to a week to do a horse, just depends on how much time I have. You can spray the matte onto the primer before you pastel to make the first coat of pastels stick better but it isn't required.

No, questions are good! I don't mind answering them at all!

BTW, this is morbidweasel, just my model horse account. I have tutorials on this account if you're interested =)

  • I have that same model!

hey what kind of paint was that?

im getting ready to start on a milton model. i stripped most of the paint off, but i can't figure out what paint to use.

  • I used chalk pastel dust. if you don't want to use pastels, acrylics are good to use as well, that's what I started out with =)

  • Love it! But the mane and tail should have been a little more golden. ^_^

  • If you sold them, how much would they be?

  • I got for my birthday a breyer "Paint Your Own Horse Activity Kit". Maybe I'll try what you did on it.

  • Where did you learn how to paint like that?

  • Articles, lots of practice XD

  • oh wow i have been wanting to try this for so long, but im too scared.. lol. and i dont really know the proper materials for this type of thing. and i know in my heart i can do this, but im just too nervous

  • Don't be nervous, try it, its a lot of fun!

  • how do you keep the dry chalk pastels on the model?

  • Between coats I seat it with Krylon Matte finish or Testors Dull coate so another layer will stick

  • I wish I had your talent... :)

Did you sand the model before priming, or does it work to just put the primer on top of the original paint?

  • You can just prime over the original model but I always sand away the seams/imperfections

  • Classical or traditional model? Cool! What kind of paint did you use? ;)

  • Its a Classics size. I use dry chalk pastels and brush them on

  • thanks does it stay on permanantly?

  • Yes, if you seal it between layers

  • wow. you're so talented. do you sell the horses you make or is it just a hobby? Because if you made one that looked like my pony, I would totally buy it from you!

  • Thanks ^_^

It is a hobby but I have been thinking about taking commissions in the future. PM me if your interested :)

  • So great ^^

  • nice
