It's not about him anymore, it's about the music. That's why he's so detached from this interview, as he feels theyre only interested in his association with the Strokes. He's reminiscent to Thom Yorke, in that he's quite introspective but is unable to express himself fully due to his distrust. He's in a fucked up place right now.
