I subbed you because I like the video . The one thing you have done is disabled ratings on your videos. This is a very important mechanism for spreading a good video. Most creatards set the ratings as disabled but they have nothing important to spread around anyway. 1. God resting was symbolic to the Sabbath or separation, a sanctified day to stop working and reflect on Gods goodness. Our life should beat in a rhythm. Rest is not as God needs to sleep, but as rest in music to show and ending of one thing and the beginning of another. the number 7 is symbolic to completion - 7 notes on a keyboard. 7 colors on a rainbow. 7 days in a week. And no one ever mentions what Noah did with all of the sea life that depends on tropical coral reefs. You cant put a reef under miles of water and expect it to live (they depend on symbiotic photosynthetic algae), and thousands of species depend on reefs directly and indirectly. And what about things like the passenger pigeon that required massive numbers to maintain survival (hence their extinction). I could go on forever. The world flood & Noah's Ark.
We have hundreds of reasons how we know it never happened. I'll just list a few.
Noah had more than just 2 of every animal to load on the Ark. He had to get samples of every tree & plant. He had to get all of the diff. species of insects. He had to save the Dolphins & whales, they would've starved. Then how did Noah feed all of them? Finally, we know that the Chinese Dynasties thrived during the flood period! other cultures did too, including my own (Amer. Ind.).

@XRRep The lowest of lows? You bring up a very good point. Religious people like you prey on people who are at a low point in their life. Is is not a coincidence that so many people come to god when they are down in the dumps. You never see Christians trying to convert people outside of fortune 500 companies or in really nice neighborhoods. They are always trying to convert people at Wal-Mart, gas-stations in the slums, and bums on the street.

When I came home from Nam, I had a monster heroin habit. It damn near killed me, so I can assure you that "I" have been as low as you can get. And who are you to say to John has never been at the "lowest of lows," as you put it? This man may have suffered more than you can imagine! Don't ever presume to think you know what someone else has experienced. Btw, he sure answered your comment of preying on people when they are at their lowest. That's what happened to me in a V.A. Hospital.

Oh, I can assure you that I stopped all the negative drama years ago. No, I just spent 3 plus years deeply involved in studying scripture (the earliest manuscripts) & other related material. In other words, when I was a Xian, i just read the NT & cherry picked the nicey-nice verses. Now, I've covered it all.
Yeah, i used to think he knows best too. That's what happens when you don't think, just eat scripture.

The reason they were different is bcuz they were intentionally changed by the author! The story is that Moses broke the 1st set in anger (sure, like Moses is gonna break the laws written by god's hand). So god tells Moses, "come back & I'll write the same words as I wrote on the 1st tablets."...yet he did not. God lied.

It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life....except for one other similar vice...Methadone. It takes about 4 times as long, and is at least that much more painful.
But ya know, I think you're right about cigs. That's the one habit I haven't been able to stop! I'm still fighting it and I'm 65 with Emphysema. If it wasn't harder, I should have kicked the smokes long ago.

How do you explain my situation? I was a Xian for over a half century. Just over 3 years ago, I decided to study scripture, front to back, including the Codices and other manuscripts. After my studies, I became an atheist. I found that the Xian god was sadistically cruel and evil! Not just Yahweh, but Jesus too!
So for me, it wasn't a choice to be a non-believer. The bible convinced me by it's own words. Did the devil make me do it?

I'd say why do I have to choose? And why do u make my fate dependent on whether I believe, or submit to a religious belief? But more important, why would u threaten us with hell-fire to make such a decision? Why judge on belief without evidence, rather than "works?"
