the new rmk is lighter ( about 30 lbs lighter than the skidoo) and the skidoo has about 10+ hp over the rmk, the skidoo would do much better with better skis, and a can.

Pretty steep but the snow looks like its kind of hard... I wonder if I had not slaughter both the Doo and the Poo with my old Crossfire. 44 back country and higher gearing that theese guys. I wonder. What I know is that my -11 M8 is hopless at racing straight forward, engine enough but the gearing is low. Good in the trees but bad straight up. Doos are famous for blowing belts here in Sweden. To high geared?

What I don't understand is skidoo claims their etec engine gas 163.9 hp and the Polaris has 154 almost 10hp difference. So why does the skidoo barley beat it?

@Tortillaz94, Ski-doo is better? Seems like it kind of hard packed, other day other winner. In those conditions I think my old Crossfire with 44 mm backcountry had killed both of them. But we never know ;)

Those etecs have unbelivable power! but the pros are way more nimble. hill climb the summit will win 95% of the time. but in the trees is where the pro does bes.
