  • I wouldn't be able to play in that orchestra with a straight face.

  • This is the Korobeiniki verison :) (Korobushka)

  • Everyone in the audience: " Why the hell are they playing Tetris?"

  • Thumb up if you are the 200,000th viewer!

  • OMG this is the most amazing thing I've heard. The "Domras" are insane at 3:43

Who made this arrangement, and have there been made a studio recording??

  • Video games use classical music from obscure sources all the time. Zombies ate my Neighbors (one of my favorites) used the old Latin chant 'Dies Irae' for the castle music.

  • @vladpiranha Though at least one version of the chant is not quite so obscure, it's Mozart.

  • Guess it was too much to ask not to have Tetris mentioned in the comments lol oh well

  • vodka ?

  • LINE PIECE!

  • Always reminded me of an Italian mobster getting shot and his friend kneeling down in tragedy babbling some stuff in italian

  • My love for Tetris bought me here. All I have to do is find the techno version of this song...

  • @ProfPikachu Search for "Eisenfunk - Korobeiniki" ist a good one :)

  • i think they have a fast version song in dance maniax 2.... its called happy hopper... i think...

  • In Soviet Russia Tetris plays you!

  • THAT is alot of balalaikas!

  • Je cherche le titre "Le Vieux Tilleul" par l'orchestre Ossipov merci de m'aider

  • I thank hetalia for teaching me this who says anime can't be educational?

  • Great !! gotta love Russia!

  • This is the only orchestra I've ever seen with an accordion section.

  • This is real talent

  • Watch out for the falling blocks above!

  • The whole "in sowjet russia, tetris plays you" is actually right in this case, because Korobeiniki is a russion folk song and was there looong before anyone invented tetris XD So there.

  • @xolitaire yeah... but it's a folk song from the nineteenth century, it wasn't the soviets yet...

  • Thank you Family Guy, thank you.

  • I can't stand those "in soviet russia..." jokes! Those are too old!

  • this is great. But the clapping in the end is so rhythmic it sounds like a funky beat for a new song XD

  • and it was good.

  • who says you can't learn anything from video games? tetris forever.

  • 2:56 retarded clowns shall enter here to throw pies at each others faces

  • Я это так люблю, что я хочу комментировать по-русский.

  • as seen on HADOUKEN

  • This song is actually older than Tetris, and is a Russian folk song.

  • Everybody who doesn't know that Tetris is Russian needs to go back to school. How do you NOT know that?!?!?!

  • @GeckosUnlimited I don't think that would have been in the curriculum, lol

  • Comment removed

  • @metavash It has to be! (if it's not then it has to be)

  • @GeckosUnlimited just learned that today.... :D

  • @GeckosUnlimited What kind of comment is this? "... needs to go back to school."

You really think schools are going to teach us about the evolution and creation of Tetris? Although it would be cool, but still your comment doesn't make any sense.

  • @Xavier0219 It's common knowledge, but if its america most of the population needs to go back to school, though not american school becuase their education system is currently piss poor

  • @GeckosUnlimited because schools don't teach about tetris.

  • @GeckosUnlimited do you have any sphaerodactylids?

  • @GeckosUnlimited When, exactly, is this taught in schools? For the record, I did know, but this comment is silly.

  • @jumahn don't tell me you didn't -at least once- played Tetris instead paying attention to your teacher!

  • @GeckosUnlimited i knew it since i was 5 *w*

  • =o....

  • You see kids? This is how music is played. With REAL instruments and for God's sake NO autotune!

  • @JCrimson98 you see? the kids, they listen to the rap, which gives them the brain damage. you see?!?! with there hippin and the hoppin and the bippin and the boppin so they don't know what the jazz is all about... YOU SEE!?!?!?!

  • @deepfriedb8con And they don't listen to their parents and they don't eat enough of the Jell-O pudding, you see!?

  • @MDStallings7 lol

  • LMFAO i love it

  • Very nice music. Played beautifully.

  • u guys are talking about an orchestra, but all I see when I watch this is Marth fighting a bunch of Links and MetaKnights in the most epic sword fight this puny world's ever seen XD

  • MAJESTUEUX, GRANDIOSE.

  • I love playin this on piano. Epic and timeless composition.

  • Someday, I will earn enough money and go to Russia. There, I will go to a concert everyday. For now, though, thank whoever's up on the clouds for youtube >.<

Oh, and look, about 15 people can't clear more than one line at tetris.

  • Why is all russian music depressing (in a nice way)?

  • @mcmackerel

Because that's just how Russians roll.

  • @mcmackerel lots of their songs are in a minor key which makes the music sound somewhat sad

  • @mcmackerel because that is the Russian musical style

  • imagine someone dancing to this....

  • Bravo. =D

  • BECOME ONE WITH RUSSIA..!!!???? DA..???

  • @demonluxray2 This video is difficult to masturbate on.

  • Bravo!

  • in soviet russia tetris plays you!

  • Awesome music, wonderful domra and balalaika playing, unbelievable! What a tasteful orchestra.

And one information for stupid western Americans and Englishmen: Korobeiniki is from the 19th century, it is a composition, which was also played in the 1920's by German Wandervögel and from the Bündische Jugend. The text to the music deals with a street vendor and a dark haired Katja. It is a tune, which is played a lot for dancing and it is loved for the tempo, which is getting faster.

  • @Porterchrille

"And one information for stupid western Americans and Englishmen: Korobeiniki is from the 19th century, it is a composition, which was also played in the 1920's by German Wandervögel and from the Bündische Jugend"

But if I moved across the Louisiana border to Mississippi, wouldn't that make me an eastern American?
