R u shutting me if this was in real life that guy standing in front if Tom cruise would have made no difference the bullet from that gun would go through both of them
not realy. they were part of the erstazheer, a anti-revolution force. many of tohse soldiers who shot were highly decorated. some wore the cross of iron
@jssoccer77 of course it was^^ there was noone in the car, so if he wanted to escape he could have jumped into the car and flee. But he had no chance of surviving the war. Every man who helped Stauffenberg was wanted and executed when found.
Why? It's a horrible movie depicting the Red Baron as a douchebag and "modern German" which he surely wasn't. He was a soldier and a patriot -- both things aren't appreciated in modern Germany.
I will not say that I agree with what Nazi Germany did to countless innocent people but in the case of the Valkyrie plan traitors are traitors. If we were in the same position would we not do the same?
If you have to make a decision, there's no doubt about it. What shame could be greater: To betray a cruel murderer, not only to the enemies but also to our own people..Or to betray your people, your fellow citizen, your family, your fatherland and even more your own conscience.. Easy question, in my opinion.
@teherlon I would have had more respect for him had he turned traitor when France fell. Or was he enjoying the fruits of conquest when Germany was winning. In fact would he have turned at all if Germany was winning. I doubt it ................. he was only trying to save his own skin.
@teherlon easy question in my opinion too but not easily answered when you are the one facing someone like hitler. being trained to do as you are told is cumbersome sometimes i would say.

@Hinata21994 a man is just a person even if he happens to be the leader of a country and if someone wants to destroy humanity it self he should be killed, by all means necessary
If only someone would have put a real bullet in the gun

It's funny the soldiers who shot these heroes were just RESERVES. No honor to their part as ACTIVE soldiers.
