As I understand Karma - we collect good and bad Karma in each life - the next life if we have collected bad Karma than it may manifest as something bad occuring in this life. I don't understand how we can rid ourselves of bad Karma and why would you want to dispel good Karma? Karma is a universal law as I understand it so how can we get rid of Karma by chanting? Someone please help on this.
I'm reading the book prosperity and enlightenment - finding so far three mantras but as open minded as I am I realize the mantras are based on Hindu Gods - I'm just not understanding how repeating these mantras without meditation (to help) can actually effect changes in one's life.
I have used other mantras in the past and they do work if you do this on a daily basis for a period of time. I'm just starting this one and am optimistic.Thanks for sharing.
@lisa4yx Shouldn't make any difference where you are...you don't have to say them outloud. I set a certain time of day to say them quietly and then, no matter what I'm doing, dishes, tv commercial etc, I say them again in my head as there are people around me throughout the day.

Not sure about the Thiru (I never paid attention in Sanskrit classes), but Neela Kanta means "blue neck" (kantam: "necked"), which is one of the many names of Lord Shiva, who drank poison to save the world in a great battle long ago. As a result, He has a blue neck.
Baba says to meditate on a blue light on your throat while you chant or meditate on this mantra, and yes, it does work. At least for me.
Also, Datta is much more than an esoteric money making person.
He is helping to bring the ancient lineage of the Siddhars of Tamil Nadu and their Mantra's/practices to overcome limitations and to seek and find the higher states of being.
Ultimately, everyone is responsible for their own stuff... karma and development on the path. So, Datta nor anyone else is can save you. These nice beings are bringing to light... the various practices that can help us attain mastery and beyond.
Some of the most spiritual people have mastered their finances. Most spiritual people, who condem anyone, who wants to break the trap of being poor and mastering the physical/form world... are merely projecting their state of limitation onto others and are essentially trying to keep others limited as themselves.
Nothing is free! That is a false concept spread by so called spiritual people who have a rather large negative ego. Anyway, if you are angry etc., look within.

Thank you for posting this video.If I may suggest,it would be much more powerful with the ocean blue color as a background because we should visualize the blue color in our throat while chanting this mantra.

Clear your Karma! Very important to be able to manifest what you want in your life. Karma not clear.... nothing will happen. Envision a blue light eminating brightly in your throat chakra, while chanting Thiru Neela Kantum 108 X's Everyday! Thank you Loatruth for making this and posting it!
