She is great in her movies, Miami Vice was terrible yet she made it watchable. I've only seen in her Curse of the Golden Flower and I own Raise the Red Lantern, and her pressence on screen is undeniable. I need to watch more.

I think Gong Li's face is appealing in a way, but I wouldn't classify her as beautiful. She is an 8/10 in my books. I saw an interview where she spoke about accepting/not accepting certain movie roles and she came across as somewhat arrogant during the interview. I don't like that. I like sweet women, like Ms. China 2009. If you watch her interview, she seems very sweet.

Thanks. Distortions of clips occurs when they have to be manipulated. For instance, I had to brighten some of Hatsumomo's clips, because they appeared too dark. Clips that comes from a movie not digitally remastered tend to appear a bit distorted too. Another reason is that videos can not be uploaded in full resolution due to space limitations of YouTube. Remember that most videos in YouTube are "homemade" by amateurs like me.
