I like his opinion of tabs, friggin tons of em and only about 10% of em are right, that and since im not good and reading things like time frames I end up having to hear the song anyways, its just quicker to slow a song down and pick it out note for note and practice it to get the speed and accuracy with the song, may be a different spot on the neck than the original but its alot closer than trying to pick out which tabs on which site are the closest to the actual song and you get the feel too

some of the best advice you could ever take at 8:47. Only use the tabs as a guideline and to feel where the nots are and such don't ever by exactly what they say. Play enough Van Halen, or metal or anything that's played really fast and you'll find that out yourself
