In the books Susan is the only one that survies out of all her siblings. When Narnia was destroyed all of the friends of Narnia (the children from the human world that have helped it) die in a train crash. Susan being 22 at the time was not summoned by asland and she was not allowed into the new Narnia.

there are two diferent orders of the books: the publication order of the books - which they are filming - and the chronological order - in which The Magician's nephew is the first and The Horse and His Boy is the Third

I am a Susan and Caspian fan too but bringing Anna back as Ramandu's daughter is just spoiling VTD. They took a risk in Prince Caspian to have the love story angle between them and it worked. Susan as described in The Last Battle did grow up and forgot about Narnia.

i felt the relationship between susan and caspian was something no one expected,including me but it kinda added a new dimension to the movie. But i do hope that anna comes back as ramandu's daughter, this way, the relationship will not be left hanging.

They may do something in Voyage of the Dawn Treader where Caspian meets a girl and ends up marrying her, the producers may cast that girl as Anna Popplewell so it can seem like Caspian married her because of her resemblance to Susan...

C.S. Lewis wrote Prince Caspian second, after writing the Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe. Chronologically, it comes 4th (after the Magician's Nephew, the Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe, and the Horse and His Boy) but the author wrote the series out of order.
