I live an hour or so from Napanee in Columbia City. The night this happend was amazing, sucks that people got hurt but the weather was amazing

I live in DeKalb County just west and I am a Skywarn Spotter and that night I had got back from a concert and we knew what we had on out hands and on nexrad out of Northwebster it had a huge hook echo

This is what the line of storms looked like on doppler radar. From every elevation and angle from the closest radar site (North Webster). And from every other radar site within 248 miles of Nappanee.

Thats what it is.
