Thanks for that, I was not aware of CaK imaging. I have just been getting into solar observing & imaging. I use a Canon 550D to image and have recently been attempting to image using typical IR filters form my film days without much luck (due to the hot plate that blocks everything above 600nm) however the camera is more sensitive to UV so I will have to get hold of a 400-300nm filter.
