I believe those strips of lights are beings ... the "third phenomenon." It almost sounds like they were interacting with the astronauts during that one point when they are asking about the lights inside the craft. Sorry, he's a nice guy, but he's way out of his depth.
I don't know why anyone considers him credible, when all he does is theorise and sensationalise things he cannot possibly hope to explain on a technical level. He's a cable TV guy, and that's the extent of his knowledge. Everything else is pure speculation.
The streaks are interesting, but like every other supposedly 'mysterious' aspect of NASA footage, there's a perfectly rational explanation. He believes what he says, but he's wrong.

I believe those strips of lights are beings ... the "third phenomenon." It almost sounds like they were interacting with the astronauts during that one point when they are asking about the lights inside the craft. It felt like they were giggly and interacting with the beings and then kind of got a grip and talked about how they lost surveillance or what not. Just my opinion, but they obviously can't be explained, but it's something outer worldly.

From 2005 - 2006, I saw loads of weird things in the skies above Sydney (Australia). Many, many days, I saw one or more of those white spheres in the skies, floating about, and occasionally flying in a clear direction. Usually two or three would appear.
In the winter of 2006, at night, I saw two brightly shining objects chasing each other aimlessly back and forth across the sky (I know it sounds flippant, but it almost looked playful, like dolphins or something). Havent seen anything since 2006

oh and anyone also notice that the "debris illuminated by the rising sun" definately changes directions? they definately look like they have their own propulsion and navigation. I'm no scientist but i thought that once an object in space had speed, it would keep moving in that direction and speed until it came across a gravitational field. that gravity is supposed to make the object arc, not turn 180 degrees and go back the way it came... grvity has pull, not pushing power...

The camera angle seems to change or the field of vision of the earth seems to flatten to what looks like a 2d picture. either way, the atmosphere moves toward the left about an inch. also as the UFO's enter from the left, watch the oceans directly opposite the saucers and you'll see quite a distinct reflection of them.
