I have wonderful memories of Riverview Park. We used to walk from Beaverdale, cross the train trestle over the Des Moines River and go in the back way.
that was my firrst and last roller coaster my cousin and brother made me ride with them i wason their laps and got the shit scared out of me as for riverview park i do miss it even we got adventureland riverview has alot of memories
well i never got to go there cuz they tor it down but im still 11 and i wish they DIDNT tare it down!!! i live REALY REALY close to it and my bro works there
A Good tip Austin...but we prefer the imperfections. We actually walked and maintained the real track and even placed/replaced the actual 20 foot strips of quarter inch top steel, ( "hammered" into non perfect curves by hand. The real coaster this represents didn't have "perfect computer curves". Try creating a replica of a real old wood coaster of years ago and duplicating it's true, real life imperfections...Now there is a challenge for you...
Thanks much to whoever did his. Sure brings back good memories. I workrd there in the 50's on the coaster. Remember the "clank, clank, clank" as it went up the lift? Frank K
Awesome! I remember riding this, although I was probably only 11 or 12 at the time.

A very good likeness of the Riverview Roller Coaster. I used to ride on this coaster as a kid. I miss Riverview Park.

Tip:
click on every vertex and press Control+G.
Then, click all of the sections that are SUPPOSED to be straight, hit I.
All better! :P

Riverview is one of my very best childhood memories. So much better than Adventureland. This is fun.
