it updates via network say every 3 months you just gotta check every now an then, ye it gives you new stuff so ye i guess it makes it better

i like th eps3 and own one th eoriginal 80gig. but one major flaw that i dont like is that im required to install all my games, why? all it does is lower loading times by about 30%. and ps3/360 games's loading time sare alo tfaster than ps2/xbox games so the install of demos/games/ other apps. is pointless. i think it shoud be optional other wise i will need by the end of the ps3's life a 500 gig hard drive and i dont feel like spending 300 dollars on a new hard drive.

Before you buy off ebay, look at the guy rating (96% or higher and the comments and what is he giving you, must be new or at least refurnished max if you trust the guy.) There both great and the guy who gave me a -1 is just ignorant and yes there's guarantee. Ebay > ps3 hdd > SEAGATE 320GB 2.5" SATA LAPTOP/SONY PS3 HARD DRIVE HDD

yes, i delete most demos except ones that are there to remind me to buy the full game. like killzone 2, uncharted, HAWX, and ratchet and clank(never thought i would like a children's game this much).

btw if you have a usb keyboard you can use the print screen key to take screen shots during resistance fall of man and you can view them in the photos option on the xmb

1. Sign up for PLAYSTATION Network.

2. Once you've signed up, go to Internet Browser.

(If you already knew that and you mean how did I get it to look like Internet Explorer then it's because I was using a Windows Vista theme, it has no effect/change except for the icon)

Windows Vista theme

Type "playstation 3 themes download" and it should be the first site, you can get tons of good themes from that site including the one I'm using.

hey thanks for your advise, yh i called sony and they gave me some port numbers and said that u need to contact your router company. so i called belkin and they helped me enter the ports. its downloading right now but mine takes ages, its only like 7% after like 20mins lol

When i tried it got to 1% and then error. I tried again and it finished in about 15 mins. I'm in the U.K. too. Move your PS3 closer to your router or even beter use a cable.
