All i can say right now is that no other band will ever, i mean ever, come close to being as good as this band. They have best melodies, a great atmosphere, and the vocalist is a beast. Thank you be'lakor for your effort and hope to see you climb the world stage one day!

I dislike the label of, "best melodic death metal band ever," because there are definitely a few that are equally fantastic in their own right.

But I will say that this is fucking unsurpassed among not just melodic death metal bands, but music in general.

insomnium is so great it is almost unnatural.

listen to the following songs: the elder, in the grooves of death, the lay of autum, daughter of the moon,  down with the sun.
